Nice, it's been an agonizing 5 day drought since our last commitment
All five crystal balls on 247 are for Michigan. Most recent was a few hours ago.
He is a legacy and at Providence Day with Jadyn Davis.
See Sam and others talking confidently about him joining the class here (from 2:00 to 3:15): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcmrOzaAz1Y
How many wingdings tho
One! One wingding!
Ayyyyyy my first double post!
Yeah, but those guys CBing him only have a combined 99.46% success rate
/s
100% this year. But when we have not missed a recruit it helps their percentage I’m sure.
For those who do not know, his pops played for Michigan and was Tom Brady's center.
One of those is much different than the rest.
The RIGHT ONE!
... no the one on the left!
He meant the right one but looking from behind the computer screen
The one that knows the real deal...
I like our chances against that field
and was rumored to be a dark horse HC candidate if Jim left
What? I looked up Jonathan Goodwin to see where he's coaching now. He's an assistant coach at Channing's HS. How would he even be in consideration to be a HC candidate for Michigan? Five fakes out of five.
Well, that would be a clear dark horse candidate.
Shit sorry. Harold Goodwin, brother of Jon and uncle of Channing. Assistant HC of the Buccaneers.
Harold Goodwin is the coach in the family https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Goodwin_(American_football)
Gerry Faust had a HOF career as a college coach coming out of high school.
House of Fuckedness?
University of Michigan Hall of Fame too.
Pops also mentored Cesar Ruiz a bit on being a center in the NFL, and also as a former Saint, knowing the good restaurants in New Orleans.
The only year that Brady and Jon Goodwin overlapped was 1999, and the U-M athletics database shows only Dave Brandt and Steve Frazier as starting any games at center.
Goodwin didn't start until the 2000 season, but only at RG. Dave Brandt started all 12 games at center.
What is Sam's bowel saying?
Looks like his ballz swung this way in Nov.
Ascending colon says Michigan. Transverse colon is a teetering between Michigan and NC. The descending colon thinks he'll poop out a Michigan hat.
Anyone watch film of him? If so, what past receiver is he similar to?
I think I've most often heard him compared to a blend of Anthony Carter, Desmond Howard and Braylon Edwards except fast and with better moves.
With a shot of Derrick Alexander
With the hands of Marquise Walker đź‘Ť
Length reminds me of Tacopants.
See I’ve heard a combination of Jesus and satan in football pads.
Channel that Fred Jackson.
maybe roundtree? im blanking on other 6'0" possession types
If he produces like Roundtree did, I'd take that any day.
Roy was a great receiver here.
You mean like the day (night) he caught ONLY one pass against Notre Dame?
This may be a good analogy for him
GO BLUE
What does this have to do with Deion Sanders?
I'm at DCA right now and there's a dude walking around with a CU sweatshirt that says "Prime" on it.
Isn't it odd that the father was a lineman and the son a wr. Different body types and size. Kinda cool to see.
Tyrone Wheatley was a RB and track star. 6'0" and 233 lbs. His son was an OT moonlighting for a hot minute as a TE at 6'6" and 265 lbs.
Right. It's unusual.
No, it's usual. Lebron was 6'8" and 240. Bronny is 6'2" and 180.
The current 100 m dash world leader is a high schooler who ran a 9.83. His father was a 3 time Olympian in the 800 m run. In fairness, his Mom was a world class sprinter. But that's the point. Kids get half their genes from their other parent. Athletes also often partner with other athletes who did different sports. Their offspring are typically athletic but not the same.
Mo Hurst Sr a 5-10 180 lb CB
Mo Hurst Jr....not that
Dylan Raiola an athletic qb
Dominic Raiola...not...so much
etc
shoot double post...
uh
now i hafta think of more examples
k hang on
Whatever happened to him? After he left here and transferred to _____ can't remember where.
He's bounced around NFL reserve/futures squads as an OT. Last signed with the Browns in 2022.
