I enjoyed the hell out of the 2023 season. I kinda feel like that might have been enough for me. Whatever college football is becoming, I don't think it's for me.
People were already making assumptions (some of them negative) about Hart because of his unknown employment status. Sometimes we need to be reminded these are human beings with real problems and cut them a little slack. You think it will lead to stirring the rumor pot. I think it's the opposite. I'm not alone in assuming Hart was unhappy he wasn't chosen to be head coach and was seeking greener pastures. Instead, it sounds like he's going through some shit. Now people will know and hopefully give the man some space.

Brian, in your critique of Warde Manuel, you left out that he lost the battle for Erik Bakich. If there even was a battle. It felt like Clemson just rifled through our pockets and took him. Above all else, I thought that was his biggest failure as AD until this point.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the 2025 recruiting cycle and to see what team 145 looks like by the end of the season. I think Moore has the goods.
Not sure what all the negs are for here. I'd be pretty happy with David Shaw 2.0. There are very few coaches that have a Nick Saban career trajectory where they can stay in a job as long as they'd like. That's why they're legends. Even Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick were run out of town. Coaches have a shelf life. If Sherrone Moore takes over and gives us 5-7 excellent years and then the wheels come off... well, that's just the way this usually goes.
This is all so stupid. Investigating one or two schools for stuff everyone is doing: inducements, tampering, etc. Unless there's a chance lots of schools have received similar notices and those stories haven't broken yet?

So their entire '24/transfer class could potentially be up for grabs. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for a single one of them to choose Michigan. And really, it would be foolish for anyone to choose M until our staff is settled. In the next month, we could get confirmation that Jim and everyone will be back. Or, they could scatter to the 4 winds.

Least surprising news of the recruiting cycle. I've heard all the arguments about money and stats and sunshine and pretty southern women and the cheating scandal, but after the last 3 seasons, I'll never understand how so many of these kids shun Michigan.

I feel for the guy. It has to be tough when your dream becomes your nightmare. I can't imagine what some Alabama fans are putting him through right now.

It's a tough situation for the kid and his coaches after the punt fumble. If you stick him on the end of the bench for succumbing to his nerves, you may wreck him forever. If you put him back out there and he fails again, you may wreck him forever. They decided to show him they trusted him, and... it was a mixed bag.
I don't put much blame on him for the 3rd down "drop" on the slant. To me, that one was on JJ for putting too much pace on it. Semaj wasn't the only one with a case of the nerves yesterday.
He's got heart, and plenty of ability. One to watch in the future for sure.
