The game is nigh: Who do you predict will be Rose Bowl MVP?

It's New Years, why not have a little fun predicting the game MVP.

My guess is Mikey Sainristil. I think it's going to be a low scoring game and Mikey is going to make a couple of critical plays to help win the game.

What say you mGoCommunity?

Kenneth Grant

He catches Milroe behind the line of scrimmage multiple times for tackles for loss.

And Harbs gives him a few carries at fullback.  5 rushes, 300 yards, one on an end around.

History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes. Like the 1991 Gator Bowl v Ole Miss, and a dominant and superlative performance, the MVP award goes to the entire Offensive Line.

If it’s Alabama, it‘ll be Milroe. Only guy it could be.

If it’s Michigan, JJ is the easy answer, but my bet is on Sainristil. The man always finds himself where he needs to be and makes the plays that need to be made. If Michigan wins, I suspect it’s because he comes up with a very timely pick that turns the tide of the game, maybe even returns it for a score.

Corum is a great sentimental pick, but my guess is that while he’ll have a score or two, it’s going to be tough sledding for tomorrow. He could have a very workman-like day of 20 rushs for 95-100 yards and a score or two.

As has been the case for every bowl game eve, BPONE is present but I'm hopeful this year is the year Harbs & the team break through. So, I'm going with a 27-21 win for the good guys.

EDIT: MVP you ask? Mikey of course. With Corum a close 2nd.

JJ..QB most important position on the field..if he has 10+ successful runs and has multiple td passes.

We are going to need to score 30ish points to win I believe

Alex Orji. After two failed attempts in the semi-final, Sherrone and Jim get wacky and give half the snaps to Orji who was unstoppable acting as Milroe on the scout team. Alabama’s defense is unable to stop neither their own offense run by Orji nor Michigan’s run game and play action when JJ is under center.

I think we are going to attempt to Penn State the crap out of Alabama on offense. I won’t be surprised if JJ throws less than 10 passes.
That being said, I’m going with Blake as the MVP. I’m not naming a potential Bama MVP. If I don’t name anyone, then my theory is that it won’t happen.

Edwards is due for a big game - if Michigan is willing to do some different things with him in the slot and wheel routes...it would be something totally new to Bama and something that they won't have on tape.

With Colston and Barner occupying their LB's attention, Edwards could get very favorable matchups...need to go vertical though; Bama is too fast for screens to either side (east/west)

Sainristil has a habit of making big plays in big games as well.

Conor Stalions or our vast network, or maybe Uncle T if it goes our way.

If Bama wins then ESPN and their SEC-loving crony refs, or possibly Tony Petitti (a.k.a. P-Titti) and his sidekick Pete Thamel (a.k.a. P-Titti Too).

Almost every game this season I waited for Donovan Edwards to go off.  And every game I, and many other Michigan fans, have been mildly to sorely disappointed.  Will this be Donovan's game?  I think so?

Rose Bowl MVP == Donovan Edwards
