Surprised how few people offer the possibility that tournaments are just straight up fun to watch and play in

Here's to people bitching about threads like this in the football offseason at 2-3 AM.

I would love to find a way to integrate Hawaiian War Chant into the actual game. You know, that other song you can't have if you have the first one?

Having my dorm featured in the picture for an article titled something like: "Worst Place To Live On Campus - Mary Markley"
...and the accompanying picture at least partially featuring my own room in 3rd Frost.

Why? Regardless of injury, you have the power to win the game NOW, so why wait and force yourself back to the 25? Nobody was stopping anyone on defense so it's not like FGs were going to win it in OT

This is a terrible idea, you guys. All that is going to be achieved is "hey, it looks like it always does." Support the players and the band.
Do chants, or even bring signs. TV loves signs, especially ones that have to do with controversy. Heck, get your asses down to the front row and wear body paint if you really want.

I went with the MMB to one ND game, and you had no idea what was happening on the field unless it was on one side's 5 yd line. ...or if mario manningham ran into you, I guess

In extenuating circumstances I think it's ok. That is, according to Indiana State....
|23 weeks 3 days ago||Funny thing... there really||
Funny thing... there really wasn't any rain afterwards. The field drained impressively, and you could hardly tell it had rained if it weren't for all the discarded ponchos and wet seats.
|23 weeks 3 days ago||I was there. The guy next to||
I was there. The guy next to me commented that it was the loudest he'd heard the fans get all day.
The players looked half sullen, half trying really hard to get amped up. More or less the same as most of the fans who were left, I think.
Norfleet went down with a disconcerting-looking injury... hopefully a stinger, but he was holding it like it might be a collarbone.
It felt like we were on the visitors' side of a high school football game, and it was really weird. Lots of people that I ran into after the game were former marching band people. I was also apparently standing right in front of Jack Kennedy at one point (per Twitter).
During the rain delay, I'm pretty sure I saw Roy Roundtree hanging with the marching band in Crisler, trying to learn how to twirl a baton with the MMB twirlers.

I was in section 41, and would not have said it was even close to full until 2/3 of the way through the 1st. The coin toss happened with largeish patches still unfilled.

Visualization: the coolest thing the public never gets to see. Giant a cappella chorus singing the pregame show and the halftime show

I'll feel guilty if I don't at least say something, here. I know the original comment may not have been intended that way, but I'm not particularly comfortable with the sexist tenor of this thread. I will fully admit that Pam Ward is annoying to listen to, but as far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be a good reason to call out Beth Mowins for the call individually.

|28 weeks 3 days ago||I had just moved to New||
I had just moved to New Orleans and couldn't find a bar that had the Big Ten Network. That is, until somebody told me that the Fox and the Hound would have it. Great! I finally get there at halftime, only to realize that it's acting as home base for the OSU Alumni Association. I had to watch the end of that game in SEC country with a ton of Buckeyes. Thankfully I didn't have a ton of M gear on...

I hate to say it, but I sort of agree. Bad chemistry doesn't equal bad results, but it certainly doesn't equal consistently good ones either. When you don't have somebody who can help gel a team, you may still get results, but things unravel much more quickly if adversity rears its head (e.g. A freshman starts having a bad day). Team chemistry is huge, and you can either get it accidentally, or you can have somebody emerge is good at helping the process along.
