I'm not so sure it's incompetence. The current system is not costing the NCAA or the member schools much if anything. It's primarily dark money, boosters, and collectives. The NCAA and its members are still collecting the same revenue without having to shell out for player salaries.

Agree with Catchafire. Just terminated WOW and went with YouTubeTV. Use Firestick to control tv. No more cable boxes. Can watch any channel on any of my devices. Huge VOD selection (but you have to sit thru commercials.  You can skip thru commercials on stuff you record). And yes, Hallmark is included. 

My main concern is @Iowa. Early enough in the season to be a night game, which I’m sure it will be. That will be a tough, tough game. By end of season Illinois may be a lot more difficult than people realize.

It took multiple watches of the 4th and 2 that ended PSU to observe all the havoc M wreaked on the play. Not sure if that was all strictly legal, but it's a helluva way to wreck a crossing route. Hope the OSU receivers pay close attention during their film session.

Gotta agree. I had some real misgivings after the MSU game, but I was always hopeful he could right the ship. 2020 is looking more like an outlier, a young team, gutted by the loss of two of their critical players. Felt the coach was dispirited, which was reflected in the team’s play. I will say Coach Harbaugh is resilient, and he’s made some outstanding coaching moves. Still some tough games ahead, but I like the team’s attitude.

I believe Gattis went on record in a presser that they were going to be a more physical team this year. It sure sounded like he was in full agreement with that plan, and it was executed pretty flawlessly Saturday night.

Anyone watch the OSU game? They gave up 269 yards to Oregon. Maybe Harbaugh’s onto something.

I think maybe gaining over three hundred yards on the ground may explain the lack of passes. 

WMU head coach Lester said M was playing the 2nd half with 6 in the box, WMU should have been getting 10 yds a carry but only managing 3 (it was more like 4-5). D-line performance inconclusive but I don’t think it was a tire fire. WMU only had 44 yds rushing at the half. 

There were a lot of encouraging signs on defense. They looked organized, disguised coverages, Nikhai Hill looks like the real deal. They got gashed up the middle a bit but played 6 in the box because Eleby is an efficient passer. In other words, the defense adapted to the opposing teams strengths. I’m less concerned about MacDonald as a play caller. OTOH, Bell’s injury is huge. Didn’t look like they had much of a backup plan on punt returns, and his loss in the passing game going to be a big problem going forward.
