Who would you like to see a home and home with?

Name a program we haven't had a home and home with in the last 20 years and don't have one currently scheduled with that you'd like to see down the road. Do you love the city the school is located? Their program? Have a favorite brewery in the area?

Anyone heard anything about rescheduling? I can't imagine UW is happy losing their home half of the series, so they've gotta be looking into it. (I'm very biased because I live about 2 miles from Husky Stadium.)

Re: beer, Fremont Brewing is one of the best and just about within walking (or certainly biking) distance from UW, and it's a nice trip along the water to get there. Then there are tons of good breweries in and around Ballard, just a few miles farther west.

Tennessee - so all of our future Tennessee born players can show out in their home state and demonstrate why departing for Ann Arbor was the smart choice (looking at you Walter Nolen).

As a Knoxville resident I second this.  Two of the largest stadiums in the country.  One that is a proper house of football that is well designed and aesthetically pleasing.  The other a mismatch of parts smashed together to get more seats.

Plus some solid breweries here as well.  Alliance Brewing and Crafty Bastard are my local favorites.

Texas, Ole Miss, LSU, Georgia, Alabama.

Just a few road destinations I've always wanted to visit. The latter three may not be in our best interests but so what.

My football answer:  Georgia

I haven't visited any SEC campuses, but Athens, GA is high on my list for a football Saturday experience.

The steering wheel is located on the correct side of the vehicle for Australian traffic, which proves that you didn't use a random stock image of a simian driving a vehicle.   That's legitimately you driving Down Under.

But I'm not sure that's actually MeanJoe's body.  It's not sufficiently syphilitic.

Based on some combination of the school's fit with U of M, the town, and the game atmosphere (and in no particular order):

  • UC Berkeley / Stanford
  • USC
  • LSU
  • Texas
  • Colorado (had one of these on the '90s)
  • Georgia
  • Miami (had one half of this x 2 in the '80s)
  • UNC
  • UVa (had one half of this in the '90s)

UCLA. That way I can finally watch *live* a Michigan loss in Rose Bowl Stadium.

Seriously though, since we already have upcoming home and homes with Texas and OU, we should go after an SEC or ACC school. Some fun matchups in order would be:

1. Georgia

2. Florida

3. UNC

4. Miami

5. Va Tech

UNC.  I lived in NC for a long time.  When I first moved there it was brought up that you should decide which color blue you liked better.  I chose Carolina Blue over Duke blue. Plus I love the state.

Having been born and raised in the Atlanta area, GT and UGA are always at the top of my list.

Stanford would be interesting from the Harbaugh connection perspective.

I've always thought a home-home against Cal would've been interesting, if for no other reason than the colors on the field.

From a recruiting perspective, gotta hit the fertile talent grounds - sunshine state (FSU), one of the TX schools (maybe TCU or Baylor, just to be a bit different), one of the SoCal schools (UCLA, sticking to the UC theme).

I live in Colorado, so I want a home-and-home with CU.

I went to the 1994 game in Ann Arbor and witnessed Kordell Stewart's Hail Mary. I was living in Alabama at the time so the drive back to Huntsville, was long and sad.

In 1996, I had moved back to Colorado and got my revenge in Boulder. It was very satisfying, to say the least. I believe we were the underdog to the Buffs lead by boy wonder coach Rick Neuheisel.

Boulder is absolutely one of the most scenic college towns in America. There is also a plethora of great microbreweries in Colorado.

UCLA or USC. Being from San Diego, would love to see Michigan play iconic programs in the west coast. I would imagine the game will create a lot of buzz, which will be great for recruiting.

Miami, it's past time to get revenge.

I'd throw in Kansas as long as Les is still there. I don't think we'd have to make it a home and home, maybe a 2 for 1, but Lawrence is a nice college town.
