When Oklahoma beats ISU by 20 will people still want Matt Campbell?

Just curious how fickel some people are?

Yes I think Campbell would be a massive upgrade over Harbaugh.  ISU looks well coached, doesn't give up, motivated players and just seems like they get the most out of the players.

Harbaugh gets the least out of a wealth of resources every week it's pathetic to watch.

Yes. Please compare ISUs talent to OUs. Then compare UMs to Wiscys. Then compare ISU losing to OU to UM losing to Wiscy, then ask again.

Watching this Iowa team with their 2 and 3 star talent playing their hearts out trying to win this in the 4th quarter makes me realize how traumatized we Michigan fans are with the absolute bottom of the barrel SHIT coaching we've seen in the last few years.

Over Jim?  Yes.  ISU passes the eye test of a team that is being coached well.  Even if they seem to be taking their time in the last 8 minutes down 10 (now 3).  UM hasn't looked well coached for a couple years in row.  Plus all the valid points raised above.

But the real question should be, does Matt Campbell want Michigan?

What about the ISU down 24-7 to now 24-21 and still alive with 5 min left? Oh also Purdy has a couple really bad INT’s that have hurt them.

You look like an idiot right now. And yes. If Harbaugh's teams were playing this OU team in any of the last 3 seasons they would probably lose by 30. Campbell has accomplished more in one year than Harbaugh ever has in 6 years at Michigan with a fraction of the talent. We're about as bad this year as Iowa State was when Cambell took over.

Perhaps the OP thought that every team folds like a cheap tent after going down more than a score like Harbaugh's Michigan does.

Well that drive didn't inspire a lot of confidence in Campbell's coaching ability. Biggest drive of the season and the coaches couldn't get the play called in in time and the players couldn't get lined up correctly.

Yes the play came in slow. But, coaches didn’t throw 3 picks and have multiple starters out on OL who got beat repeatedly upfront. Those 2 false starts and lets just throw it up was the difference. I am a Campbell supporter, but I think we all can agree it’s nice to see a coach down 24-7 and give his team a shot to win with 2 min and the ball. Harbaugh fans, other than the PSU game last year where we fought hard in 2nd and Bell dropped the Td, when else did this team battle back in 2nd half against a solid team? I know we had a few comebacks (remember NW), but against weaker teams where we just came out flat. Usually we get down early and it’s over. You need to take better care of ball, but end of day when you have a shot to win against a top 10 team losing turnover battle 3-0 is best you can hope for.

You idiots that want Tom Allen and Campbell would run Harbaugh out of town if he blew a championship with terrible management like ISU just did.

Seeing Matt Campbell lose his shit and his players having to hold him back....

I'd take that guy, even if he was named Harbaugh.

If you're gonna lose -- at least lose showing the fight with Fire & Brimstone.

Go Blue.

Matt Campbell’s Iowa State team lost by six against a good team and played tough.

You were saying?

What I’d do to see a Michigan team that had the heart Iowa State has shown this year. Just to put his team into position – it’s Iowa State for crying out loud – for a Big 12 title is impressive.

What part of this is Iowa State, does no one get? Is he the solution for Michigan? I don’t know, he establishes a winning culture and can upset good teams with less talent.

All I’m saying is Campbell has done a heck of a job at ISU. Also pretty sure he and his offensive coordinator haven’t admitted not having a game plan against a rival after an awful loss.

Wrong. You know you can google their results right? They beat Texas and Oklahoma and lost by 3 to Oklahoma St and 6 to Oklahoma. I’m not saying he the answer here. I think he should be considered though because he has accomplished more at Iowa St.than Harbaugh has in college. That’s not a debate.

Of course we want him. We need a coach that recruits well, develops players, schemes to put them in the best position to succeed, and makes correct -- and modern -- in-game coaching decisions. Aside from excellent offensive-side recruiting, we have none of this right now. And we are going into year 7 -- it's not gonna change if we maintain Harbaugh as HC.

So change is needed. Would Campbell be an improvement? Maybe -- but there is more than one option that might be an improvement. It just has to be figured out, and people are paid a lot of money to figure these things out. Once decided, we have to take the shot without worrying about "whoa, what if we're worse?" What's worse than losing to all of your rivals and beating f-ing Rutgers only because of a missed FG? Just about anything will be better. So I say go for it.

You tell us, nice guess on the score.

Yes, people still want a coaching change, and your post was stupid when you posted, and looks just brilliant now.

Go ahead and tell us about the JH rebirth on the horizon with your next attempt.

Also couldn’t this be said of most coaches?

Most people here would have been like...yeah, that Nick Saban guy never won anything at MSU. I wouldn’t want him.
