No I didn't. I've formed my own opinion off of what I've read.

This has gone on way too long for me to feel comfortable about getting him.

The fact that his school is so sparty-friendly and that we went from being locks to near-trailing is enough for me.

I don't care one way or the another. I've kind of given up with that recruitment. Talk about a wild goose chase.

I'll gladly eat lemons if he comes here. And limes.

Who else thinks WD knew the whole time we would get ghost and said that so he could eat some lemons and get some more attention ? As someone who follows recruiting you would think he could see we had a well above 50% chance to get ghost. Edit: also anyone who wants to post videos of eating something, YouTube "shoenice" first to get some ideas. Maybe eat a large spider ? Or how about a plate of grass in honor of Les.

The part you misread about Lavert Hill is that he wasn't sure he wanted to pass up Harbaugh for Dantonio.  In the end, he realized that was too important and too much career downside to risk.

Timmaay step back and think of why you would expend so much energy to bash on someone WHO LOVES THE SAME TEAM AS YOU. He is a kid and kids do silly things sometimes attention seeking or not. The fact you attack him so rudely all the time says more about you and the help you might need than it does about him being attention whorish at times.

Don't put words in my mouth, pal. I said nothing about not watching "in protest" (WTF?). I didn't watch because I'd rather not willingly subject myself to the annoyance that would surely come from watching that.

Why does it matter that he loves the same team that I do? It doesn't. He annoys me, and is incredibly disingenuous. At least I'm honest. 

And I thought I was being fairly tactful in this thread, as others had already hit the notes I'm humming to myself. 

And he's not a kid. He's 20 years old. That's old enough to go die in the military, old enough to vote for the leaders of our country, and should be old enough to drink (but that's another topic). Give the "kid" schtick a rest, it's played out.

Son you take this shit too seriously. Spend more time with your friends...when you are uploading videos of eating lemons based on Internet comments to anonymous strangers I would suggest you rethink your priorities. My son is about your age and I would say the same to him. RL > the_internet

I know that there are mixed feelings on this blog about WD, and I myself have both criticized and defended him.  But I think that UMProud's comment is spot on:  WD, the amount of time that you spend on this blog and doing things related to this blog (like taking the time to film a 9 minute video of yourself eating a lemon based upon some random comment in a threat on the board, is probably better spent with actual friends and family.

To be clear, I am in no way criticizing WD for his fanaticism of Michigan sports or for the fact that he spends a lot of time on MGoBlog.  I, myself, often have it open in the background from my work computer.  But, there is just something about WD's fandome - from his comments to his super guides, to his overall demeanor, that leads me to believe that he has crossed the line from being a really big fan to having a true obssession.  There are a limited number of hours in a day, and if WD is spending so much time centered around MGoBlog, it doesn't really leave much time for school/work, developing a good social structure and possibly looking for a date.  

Again, WD, nobody can tell you what to do, but as a father with a kid not all that much younger, I would give this same advice to my son.

It's naive to think you guys constantly "saying things" about WD isn't anything other than E-Bickering.

Honestly WD isn't my favorite person on this blog either, but I'm not gonna stop him from posting, nor am I going to prevent "Wolverine From Sydney" from making numerous accounts so I guess it's time for me to give up that plight.

1. I don't know any of these guys, so I don't have a dog in this fight.

2. Yeah, WD gets to be a bit much sometimes. And yes, nine minutes of eating a lemon is about eight minutes too many. But as far as being annoying ... hell, he's not even the most annoying person on this blog. (Last year's bro business major who wanted money to make an alternative fight song video takes that crown.)

3. And which is more annoying: An occasionally obsessive kid (and at my age, 20 is still a kid) who can at least build words into sentences, and paragraphs into coherent thoughts? Or the guys who constantly shadow him on here to throw e-mud at his many posts, just because they don't like him?

At times, it's a toss-up.

Would somebody who knows this kid WD please check on him from time to time today and make sure he's not lying on the floor from a doggone lemon overdose. Keep in touch with the young fellow for awhile. All kidding aside, I'm fine with WD being apart of this board. He's all right with me.
