Wake Up! It's Game Day!

Submitted by cGOBLUEm on November 5th, 2022 at 6:56 AM

Good morning again, MGoCommunity!

It's been a very interesting week in the wake of assault in the tunnel. It will be nice to have a game tonight, hopefully a blowout, and  to go into next week with no unnecessary bullshit that overshadows a victory. Obviously, I think Michigan wins big, but perhaps not as big as we'd all like because I think they will have subs in early to prevent injury to key players. My prediction: 41-7, and JJ goes over the top to Roman Wilson for a 61-yard TD.

What are you all doing with the whole day ahead of us? I'll be putting the finishing touches on a 3-minute thesis, and I probably won't be tuning in until 3:30 for Tennessee-Georgia. There's a lot of great games today. Enjoy, and Go Blue!

Im saying thanks for another 8pm game. Im 12 hours ahead of Eastern Standard here and very grateful we haven’t had any 3:30 games yet this year. Get to wake up to a real rivalry game tomorrow.

With the first watch-worthy game starting at 3:30, it's a (nice and warm) "get it done" kinda day before winter snows show up and outdoor tasks become impossible. Going to use the new pressure washer finally, should be fun.

Attended the 78-0 beatdown; don't think we'll see a repeat as the 2 and 3 deep players see time.

Been looking at a nice bottle of wine we've been saving for years. Might go really well with dinner around game time. Don't drink very much any longer, but tonight is looking like a nice, relaxing, "got it all done so why not" kind of evening.

49-10 if I had to guess.

Hey! Have a great day! 😁

I got home from work at 6am , dog woke the wife up and she came down stairs to chat. After about 30 minutes she said "should WE even go back to sleep at this point ?" now I'm wondering if I slept walked from 630p last night to 6am this morning. Oldest has soccer this morning and early after noon. Once we finish with that, coming home and watching the afternoon and night games.

In New Jersey.  Heading down to the game early this afternoon to catch the Rutger experience if there is any.  Then the game.  Back to the hotel tonight.  Early wake up. Roll out of bed and back to Michigan.

Nice day here.

  • try to fix a torchiere lamp
  • dinner somewhere
  • watch UM-Rutgers, while my wife and her parents go to the symphony

I've seen claims on twitter (yes, it's a shitshow) that Mazi Smith is hurt and won't make the trip. Has anybody seen any evidence for that?

Rainy morning down here so no yard work. Not the best day for tailgating, but if it clears up I might wander over to campus to check out the scene. Still hate Kelly, but I'm pulling for the Bayou Bengals to take down Bama tonight.

In Show Low Arizona today visiting with family I haven't seen in a very long time. We're going to go ride razors most of the day and stop to do a little fishing if the opportunity presents itself. And watch the big game at 4:30!

I hope they work on the intermediate to long pass game and get Anthony and  CJ back in the swing of things. OSU and even IL will be all about stopping the run. JJ is going to need to throw and he needs some practice heading into this game. Today and nest Saturday will be perfect times to start throwing longer passes.

I could see UM 70 - Rutgers 13.  If they stay with the more conservative route, may be UM 41 - Rutgers 12.

Sipping my 2nd Michigan Mug of coffee and contemplating a bicycle ride if and when there's a long enough break in today's rainy weather (92 miles on the bike trail logged in the last 4 days).

I'll peek in on the MGoBoard and the noon games from time to time, but from 3:30 thru midnight (or later) I'll have two TVs tuned to CFB and bits of Game 6 of the World Series during commercial breaks.

I'm going to mulch some leaves by mindlessly driving the tractor in circles around the yard.  The'll watch some football leading into the best game of the day at 7:30.
