I had to learn the "new" math to help them with their homework. After a couple weeks, I got the hang of it and my oldest daughter is picking up multiplication pretty easily. And 3rd grade doesn't start for two more weeks.
I can't speak against the new math they're teaching at my girls school because it works for them, but it's going to do more harm overall if teachers and parents don't fully understand it.

Yeah baby. Dennis Franklin made me realize, as a youngster, that Michigan football could break your heart. After he broke his collarbone and MSU didn't vote us the Rose Bowl he taught me proper hate. After going 30-2-1 and never playing in a bowl game made the BT change it's archiac rules. He's my favorite Michigan qb and second place is not even close.
Glad to get that off my chest.

As I recall, it was in the low 90s with an oppressive dewpoint at gametime, but the loss of water weight was worth staying to see an incredible finish to the game and a great start to the Carr era at Michigan.
