Tenth Grader In Pasadena, California - Player To Watch

Submitted by PasadenaFan on August 30th, 2021 at 8:49 PM

Here a local kid I see out here in Pasadena.  Mich should put an eye on him: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15352822/611fcf51c11b900b74602aa0

10th grad 6'4" 320. Benched 386lb as a 15 yr old

What U think?

MOD EDIT - Changed the title as Pasadena, CA is decidedly not local for those of us who, just as an example, live about equidistant between Detroit and Ann Arbor. - LSA

I think this would've been considered a bad post even on MLive back in the day.

Before day's end I'd like to see this title on a post:

HELP LOCAL KID!

Given your comment history, it's rich as hell that you're now whining about attitudes and people not being nice to you.

"I'm a big Harbaugh supporter, but he can SUCK MY DICK, for not having the team ready and not choosing the right QB by a mile. And blow my fucking Nads out for losing those games. What a dickhead. MAN THE FUCK UP!" —November 24th, 2020

Big does not always mean good. IMHO this kid has a lot of the bad habits of kids who are a lot larger than their competition.

1. He immediately stands up out of his stance. That will get him pancaked every time against a quality D line.

2. Bad foot work.

3. SLOW.

4. Bad hands/hand placement.

In short, he's not good at any of the things you need to be good at. Unless he gets A LOT of good coaching in the next 2 years, he's a pass.

I fixed the title, although it is not terribly creative even at that, and for this I do apologize. Usually, I can come up with a decent one.

OP, all I ask is for more descriptive titles, that's all. I ask that because sometimes that's the difference between something staying on the board and something being removed from it.

I was thinking about posting similar things as I watch my son play his senior high school football season.    Every week I see intriguing players on the field.   And I want to know MGoBlog's opinion of said players.

BTW, my son is a 6'4" 290 lb offensive lineman.   I think he would be a great fit for Michigan.  What do you all think?   His current offer list is comprised of smattering of D3 schools that may or may not have legitimate interest in his services.
