FWIW. Michigan doesn't seem inclined to get re-involved.

First TD run, not so impressive.
Second TD run, pretty damn impressive.

If you're in the AA area I would suggest Washtenaw Veterinary Hospital on Packard. Your dogs needs to go over on seizure medication. Seizures are fairly common in dogs and can generally be easily treated with medication and proper supervision. Then take your dog out to a park to run. A tired dog is a happy dog.

Kickoff. The only reason to be optomistic about the OL is so I don't jump off the Stadium st. viaduct before then...
|16 weeks 3 days ago||KCP||
Isn't so much a lightning rod as he is the straw that broke the camels back. By the way, does Drummond strike you as more of a Shaq/ Duncan/ Dirk guy or a LeBron/ DRose guy? Getting someone who could direct the floor better was more important than getting a gritty 2 guard off the bench. Two things were obvious last year: 1) Drummond is the future. 2) Brandon Knight wasn't a starting PG. Maybe Trey wasn't the pick, but the percieved value should have been enough to draft him. The Twolves took Burke and flipped him for the number 14 and 21 picks.
|16 weeks 3 days ago||^THIS^||
Can KCP be a valuable player? Sure. Was this a good use of a resource. NO. You could've found the same basic player in the second round.
|16 weeks 3 days ago||Really?!||
Your argument for not drafting Burke is that his has the same shooting% as a 5 year vet... I think most fans would take a rookie who's still developing his shot at the next level over a PG who is allergic to passing the ball. You can't compare Burke to Jennings. Plain and simple has, Burke shown more as a starting PG than KCP has shown as a SG off the bench? Yes. Dumars is too concerned with being the smartest guy in the room. Darko, Stuckey, Austin Daye, Joe's drafting is a tire fire. If you thought MCW was the best point guard in the draft last year, then I tip my cap to you. But no one was saying that going into the draft. He did not look good in the tournament last year and seemed to be an oversized PG with no outside game. Had Dumars drafted MCW I doubt you would hear a peep out of Michigan or Piston fans about not drafting Burke. The fact that he took the walmart version of Bruce Bowen with the 8th overall pick shows just how clueless he is about evaluating talent in relation to value. KCP would've probably been ther in the 2nd, or at least a similar gritty defensive minded SG.

Let me say tht there is about as much of a chance of Schwartz getting fired as Borges. That is to say, none.
Now, if I was in charge, he'd be gone now and so would Mayhew. You can't gain a thing by keeping them around another week. There's no time like the present to start the coaching search.
|32 weeks 1 day ago||OK.||
I happen to know the Magner's personally. I grew up next door to there nephew and he's been my best friend since I was 4. Give money or don't, it's your choice. HOWEVER, they're not rich. They made a decent living from Blimpy's, but not what some of you seem to think. They are about as middle as middle class gets. Things like health insurance are expensive for independent business owners. They did not profit from the sale of the building. They bought the business, but not the building. They were not compensated after the sale of the building. It's fine if you don't want to give, but this isn't a scam. It's just a local family trying to get there business back up and running. That's all.

Can you also do a metric that explains why Borges waited until the last game of the season to deploy any of the play counters to what he'd run all season.

That makes sense too. He's been a good soldier, but they can't have another year with that D. OSU will talk some mid level bottom feeder into taking him on as there HC. Great programs don't need to fire guys, they just promote them off the staff. Interested to see who they bring on next year, though.

Narduzzi will get a HC somewhere like Purdue or Rutgers. Someplace you can win, but not a traditional power.
Muschamp is out.
Mack Brown gets another year.
Fickell will get the HC at FIU or EMU or some bottom feeder.
Weis will stay for some reason only Kansans can ununderstand.
Holgerson holds on for another year.
Ogeron gets USC HC.

Sanity is making an argument that this team could be 10-1...
|34 weeks 5 days ago||Agreed.||
If you're not a OC or DC genius, then you don't have the luxury to be loyal to 'your guys'.
|34 weeks 5 days ago||I HATE this argument.||
This is equvalent to saying that if you give Borges more talented players, he can beat you. No shit. If you give any mediocre coach more talented players, they'll win. I don't care what he does with NFL talent, I care how he responds to the players he ACTUALLY has. He's no good. He hasn't adapted well to his talent. The argument that they want to install 'their' offense is invalid. You can run several different offensive styles no matter your talent level, you just don't d things (like power) that you're not able to be successful with.
|34 weeks 5 days ago||Well...||
While I agree that Malzahn is an elite coach. It's a bit disingenuous to say that he turned Aubrun around with someone else's guys. After all, he was the OC from 09-11. One would have to assume that he had quite an influence on at least the offensive players that Auburn went after at that time. He only left for one season.
|34 weeks 6 days ago||Just sayin'...||
It's hard to feel good about a coach whose teams have gotten worse on the field the longer he's been here. Say what you will about RR, but his teams went from terrible to meidocre, not the other way around. I don't know anyone that thinks of Hoke as a brilliant tactician. Everyone talks of him as a great salesman, a CEO. Well, CEOs are ruthless when it comes to performance. Hoke needs to axe Borges and find a OC from this century. A modern pro style offense doesn't consist of 3 TE sets for anything more than a situation specific offense. Not being an offensive/ defensive genius doesn't allow Hoke the luxury of being faithful to 'his guys'.

Running 9,000,000 play sets. Tipping your plays by formation AND personnel. Naked bootlegs. Seven step drops. Also, play action on 3rd and 85. Our line is not good, but play calling and preparation are making them look worse.
