He's awful. But somebody will take him.
November 27th, 2023 at 9:51 PM ^
He is not good.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:12 PM ^
Sparty will go after him… “not good” is better than a couple of 4 stars that just walked out the door.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:29 PM ^
this … they will need bodies
November 27th, 2023 at 9:53 PM ^
Prior to the season he was somehow getting hyped up as one of the top QB prospects, but Miami fans seemed totally over him by the latter part of the season.
November 27th, 2023 at 9:54 PM ^
29 TDs and 17 picks the past two seasons and got benched this year (got his job back after new starter got hurt). I think I’ll pass on this one.
November 27th, 2023 at 9:56 PM ^
A Big Ten West team will probably sign him. They love mediocre transfer QBs.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:14 PM ^
I 👀 what you did there!
November 27th, 2023 at 9:57 PM ^
Maybe back with Gattis at MD.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:16 PM ^
I'd be surprised... he was only good before Gattis got there
November 28th, 2023 at 2:39 AM ^
We talking the Maryland QB or Miami QB?
November 27th, 2023 at 10:03 PM ^
He’s had some high highs and low lows. If he can end up in a good situation, he might be able to achieve some consistency
November 28th, 2023 at 7:39 AM ^
Though the difference between good and meh players sometimes seems clear, the situation has a huge impact.
Would JJ be as good had OSU taken him? He'd be good, no doubt, as AS good?
November 27th, 2023 at 10:05 PM ^
I guess Gattis wasn't the only one to blame for his fall from grace after 2021.
Tyler started the year 4-0 with stats that were even better than JJ (11 TD, 1 INT). Then went thru a 5-game run with 11 INTs, four losses, and an OT win (with two picks) vs. a 2-5 UVA team (that ended 3-9).
Jon "C" Smith at MSU (not to be confused just yet with John LLLLLLLL Smith) may have to settle for this guy if he can't get the hot shot recruit from Ore ST to join him.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:05 PM ^
I hope JJ stays, because, well he's JJ and just a great person. Also, he lives across the street from my mom!
November 27th, 2023 at 10:38 PM ^
I won’t make my joke here because well, after beating OSU 3 times in a row, we are all friends here.
November 27th, 2023 at 11:27 PM ^
She's 80.
November 28th, 2023 at 9:17 AM ^
Can she play DT?
November 27th, 2023 at 10:13 PM ^
I watched a SportsCenter episode that was hyping him as a top NFL draft pick. Man they suck so much, I can’t believe anything from that show.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:15 PM ^
Called this one.
I expect him to go to SMU with Rhett Lashlee.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:15 PM ^
Again, if JJ goes...keep an eye on Riley Leonard at Duke. Elko is gone.
That said, all these guys will have found their new team by the time Michigan is done playing 😁.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:42 PM ^
Assuming he transfers, any reason to think he wouldn't follow Elko to TAMU?
November 27th, 2023 at 10:48 PM ^
He's a Duke student. He might actually care about academics.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:23 PM ^
Hell no. There aren't enough years to make him serviceable next year
November 27th, 2023 at 10:26 PM ^
I think I'd prefer Sally and Buddy...
November 28th, 2023 at 11:02 AM ^
Laura!
November 27th, 2023 at 10:46 PM ^
ok downvote withheld as long as we can all agree that after JJ announces he's staying these cease
November 27th, 2023 at 11:10 PM ^
If given the choice I’d take the ND Center
November 27th, 2023 at 11:20 PM ^
He is ass.
November 28th, 2023 at 7:25 AM ^
Van Dyke was sort of ruined by Gattis and Cristobal, so I'm not sure if he'd be worth bringing in as a 1-to-1 replacement.
November 28th, 2023 at 7:30 AM ^
Hard pass, thanks.
November 28th, 2023 at 7:32 AM ^
I mean, if we're talking an Alan Bowman situation: come here, compete, get your head right, maybe play or back up. Sure. If we're talking come in and start. Nah.
November 28th, 2023 at 8:19 AM ^
No thanks
November 28th, 2023 at 8:53 AM ^
Every time I watched a game of the U it seemed like the reason he struggled was his o-line was complete ass. He spent more time on his backside than on his feet. He reminded me of he early Lions Stafford years, where you could tell he was a solid QB but his o-line was getting him killed. Same with DG.

I like our current pipeline, Orji looks like a stud. Harbaugh will develop him.
