Straight from the old coaching staff!!!

Submitted by Hoek on

Let me first tell you, my brother in-law Allen is the son of a very important man at U of M. He has been close to all the coaches at Michigan since he was young (Bo,Gary,Lloyd,RR).

Well yesterday we had the family over and Allen walked through the door with ten bags of Michigan gear he got from some of the coaches. He told me he took what he wanted and I could have the rest, so like a kid at christmas I began going through all the bags and found almost all of the stuff is new. There is also alot of kids suff.

I also tried to find out what Allens dad knows, and how the coaching search was going, but he won't say a thing.

I think the Allen he is referring to is none other than the infamous Mr. Allen!  29 or 2 for 50!  I haven't seen those commercials in ten years (when I graduated) but they have been burnt into my brain.  My dying words will probably be"29...or...2...for...fiddy..." (BEEEP)

My brother-in-law is from a third world country, but got his citizenship when he married my wife's sister.  He didn't know anything about the coaching search either...

So wait, you made a post to say that you know a major insider, but that insider didn't tell you anything?  You realize that's about as good as me making a post saying I don't know any insiders who also didn't tell me anything, right?

Specifically Santa Monica (the "Home of the Homeless") and for some reason the clothes they always give away to the homeless people happen to be Michigan t-shirts. My guess is that there are just soooo many made that the Salvation Army inevitably becomes its own version of the M-Den come Spring Cleaning. Anyways, when I first got into Michigan I had so much pride in the school that every time I would see a homeless person wearing a ratty Michigan t-shirt I'd yell "Go blue!" at them. I once even tried having a conversation with one of them about the recruitment of Ryan Mallet.

Anyways, now I'm starting to believe that the surplus of Michigan clothing is in fact due to the constant coaching turnover... Damn.

When you hit reply there are several things that are going on. You are requesting that a page be loaded and you are sending the server information to process (your reply message). The server then processes your information (adds your comment), then builds the html for the page and sends it back to you. When the page times out, it's usually that last step that fails. So, when you refresh the page, you are submitting your reply message each time. That's why it added it 5 times. Also, if it takes a while to load and you hit the reply button again, thinking that it will speed it up, you are sending the request a second time.

Long story short, if the page times out after you submit a comment, open a new tab and check to see if it submitted before you refresh the page.
