Dude, being a Michigan fan living NC for the last 19 years, I am beyond thrilled. You can’t wear Michigan gear without people yelling “App State!!!”. Glad to have the heat off Michigan and now on A&M.
Also, announced early this AM, College Gameday will be at Boone / App State this weekend!!! Pretty cool for us North Carolinians. Gonna go to the game as our daughter is a Freshman at App St.

According to 247, the 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 recruiting classes for A&M have 13 five-stars and 63 four stars.
According to 247, the 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 recruiting classes for Michigan had 6 five-stars and 33 four stars.
Texas A&M has deeper talent in 2022 than Michigan did in 2007 but lost to an App St team that wasn't as good as the 2007 Appy St. team.
Unsurprisingly, there isn't a single 5-star or 4-star among the 2019-22 recruiting classes for App St.—it's all 3-stars or lower for them.
