Is it just me, or did I detect a hint of sarcasm in that article? Oh, it was ALL sarcasm you say? Now things make sense...

In all serious, they have a right to find those rankings ridiculous given recent history. On the other hand, MSU loses a ton on talent (at QB, Oline and Dline), and OSU loses basically everyone except the guy that applies Ben Gay to everyone's balls, so them coming in ranked lower than usual should not be a huge shock.

All this notwithstanding, fuck MSU and fuck OSU. With a large, rusty, unclean spike...

I laughed, too, but didn't get "excited".

Would not want that stuff down there. I once used Tiger balm on my shoulder, washed, and took a pee. I apparently didn't wash it all off and it stung - even just a smidgebit of that stuff in the wrong spot.

Gerdman wrote relatively  fair and objective "Michigan Monday" articles up until the point where Harbaugh came in and actually had substance behind the winning he was doing. After that, for whatever reason, they've all had major undetones of sarcasim in them. This latest deal kind of seals it for me. No need to read anything of his b/c it won't be objective. Even unfollowed on the twitter.

It's been up there for a while. OSU is just whiney because they know they choked away their game with MSU, so they didn't get to play in the championship game. That's why you play the games. MSU really lucked out . . . they should have lost to BOTH Michigan and Ohio State. C'est la vie.

Regarding Gerdeman, I will be watching in the Fall to see how Michigan Monday is. Not quite as much fun for them since Michigan is improving.

Regarding Michigan, the one thing I'll say is we don't have any room to chirp until, ya know, we actually beat MSU like a drum and beat OSU at least some of the time. I love Harbaugh, but beating up non-conference foes and most of the Big10 doesn't mean a whole lot.

I'll admit that I too think that it's insane to believe that we finish ranked #3 or #4 next year.  I believe we will be better but like StephenRKass said, "we don't have any room to chirp until, ya know, we actually beat MSU like a drum and beat OSU at least some of the time".  I think those days are around the corner.

Every self righteous OSU fan is scared to honestly realize what HARBAUGH is bringing Michigan back too. I believe we will see HARBAUGH dominate Meyer like Carr did to cooper

Meh. OSU and Michigan are going to be neck and neck for the foreseeable future. Staee, on the other hand is about to come down to earth in a big way. I hope they enjoyed the last few years, because it's over now

And a down big ten, esp Michigan and PSU. 2 out of the 3 top programs in the east division were easy wins for several years now. MSU doesn't go to a big ten championship game under Dantonio if Michigan and PSU are having normal success, and they won't again for the foreseeable future.
