Rutgers with huge TOP advantage: 13:14 to 1:26! Helped their cause going 3 for 3 on 4th down conversions.
Kirk Ciarocca was the OC for WMU with Fleck so I’m familiar with his work. He runs a solid balanced ball control offense. They emphasized ball security and Fleck brought Ciarocca with him to Minn. They will grind Northwestern’s defense down before the end of the 3rd.

Rutgers looking pretty good. I don't know how they'll do against teams in the conference since Wimsatt's accuracy still looks a little streaky. They should win this game convincingly though which is good.

Rutgers has a basic level of football competency, which is not a surprise as Schiano is a good coach (regardless of what he is as a person). That said, their ceiling is fifth-best team in the B1G East and neither Sparty nor Indiana are going to give that them without a fight.

I think this is the case more than Rutgers being good. NW may be about to put up one of the worst P5 seasons in recent memory, and that's taking their 1-11 effort last year into account.
