Yeah - dude is a big game player!
November 16th, 2019 at 4:23 PM ^
Is it that he’s a big game player, or the fact Putin called in 4 TD passes before the game?

GIVE ME SOME RIVALS BEATDOWN MUPPETS DAMMIT

That was the Shea we wanted when he transferred.. Now just need to keep it going
November 16th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
I enjoyed watching him play. Great job.
November 16th, 2019 at 3:52 PM ^
Over 300 yards passing; something we have been clamoring for every game. Glad he wasn’t pulled and got the last TD.
November 16th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
I am extremely happy for Shea. Played his ass off today and holds a new record for the most passing yards against Staee. Wow.
November 16th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
Do this vs OSU and I lub you long time Shea
November 16th, 2019 at 3:47 PM ^
Dilly dilly!
November 16th, 2019 at 3:48 PM ^
Shea's playing at a high level. It took a little time but this offense really does seem to suit him. Can't wait for the next game!

His best game as a Wolverine.
November 16th, 2019 at 11:36 PM ^
That might be the best QB performance of any Michigan player all time. Ranks at least in the top 10 for a rival game.
November 16th, 2019 at 3:49 PM ^
Shea played great today, and has played really well since the first quarter of PSU game. He was a total gamer that night and has been since.
November 16th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
He has it in him, which is why he has been the starter all year. His decision making was much quicker in this game. When that happens, he's very good.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:00 PM ^
Spot on. Seemed like no hesitation today and of course, no turnovers helps.
November 16th, 2019 at 3:52 PM ^
I LOVE SHEA!! Cant remember ever saying anything bad about him....(cough.....choke)
November 16th, 2019 at 3:53 PM ^
I am glad that the dirty spartans didn't injure him.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
Not for a lack of trying though
November 16th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
That 99-yard drive was a heckuva turnaround.
November 16th, 2019 at 3:58 PM ^
Shea giving off some 2015 Rudock vibes, struggling early in the year, but then coming on for a late season surge!
November 16th, 2019 at 3:59 PM ^
Gattis is starting to let the secrets out of the bag
November 16th, 2019 at 4:00 PM ^
Hopefully the pass game stays. Way too many athletes not to use them.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
Yeah. In my opinion, the game plan was superb, and more of a positive factor than Patterson's performance. We got most, if not all, of our athletes involved by passing the ball a ton, including short passes flanking MSU's stout inside defense. In addition to Bell, Peoples-Jones was on fire. Eubanks, Collins, and Johnson all got TD receptions. Giles Jackson was our leading rusher. Sainristil and McKeon each got a couple of big receptions. Tarik Black got a big 3rd down catch (with the silly penalty afterwards).
November 16th, 2019 at 5:17 PM ^
I agree D Dan - and don't forget the line. What a fantastic job the line did pass blocking today!
Shea did a great job, with a lot of help from his mates!
November 16th, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
If Shea can beat Ohio State, he will have created a great legacy for himself with his three rivalry game performances this year!!! Git 'er done!
November 16th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
Shea has an opportunity to be a legend...beat OSU while they are ranked 1, and he will forever be well regarded in Michigan history.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:06 PM ^
Have we finally mastered the offense? Or was this just a reflection of the dismal State secondary? Either way, truly a game for the ages by Shea. We will need an explosive offense against Indiana next week.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:09 PM ^
OSU scored 34 against MSU, Wisconsin 38 and PSU 28. They may not be elite defensively but it's nice to score more than anyone else on them.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:19 PM ^
It will mean a lot playing like this on road. Our defense will need to be off the field as much as possible referring to some sustained drives by the offense.
Indiana did hang 27 against Penn State, they are not chump change.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
But...But... that's impossible! People said he wasn't good enough for 300 yards!!!
November 16th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
Shea Patterson... there’s the threat, Mark.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
Shea has taken his share of crap, including here on this blog. Glad to see him having some success lately.
Keep it going, Big Guy.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
Great to see Shea having a breakout game! Admittedly, have been critical of Shea's play all season but he finally looked like the much better QB on the field. Yea, go do it again next week on the road vs Indiana.
Go Blue!!

How long before Mineral King comments on this thread?

Shea played a great game. He should be the starter. I admit that I’ve both questioned that and have reinforced that. However, will say, that he hasn’t “turned the corner”. His balls are still a lot of times off target and he doesn’t read the field properly. I am not saying D-Mac or Joe would do better. Just looking ahead (and kind of in retrospect) as to how those little nuances in a close game could cost the team against good competition. Regardless, great win today! Go Blue! Fuck State! Beat IU!
November 16th, 2019 at 4:36 PM ^
Hell of a game from him. He’ll need to be even better in two weeks, but he can do it.
But for now, I will enjoy his accomplishments from this week.
November 16th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
His timing was SO much better than normal. Still a tiny bit off at times when he doesn't quite lead a receiver as much as we'd like . . . but holy crap what a career day.
Good pocket awareness, seeing the field, tough, decisive, touch on the ball when needed.
Very happy for Shea, hope he can build off of this.
November 16th, 2019 at 7:20 PM ^
Confidence is his Achilles’ heal. If he believes, he does very well. The talent has always been there.
November 16th, 2019 at 8:59 PM ^
Great to see Shea shut the hatters up.
November 16th, 2019 at 9:52 PM ^
She is easily in the bottom 5 of Michigan QB's in my lifetime.
That includes every 3rd stringer and scout teamer.
November 16th, 2019 at 10:23 PM ^
Loved the tuck and run decisions
November 17th, 2019 at 1:13 AM ^
Congratulations to Shea on an awesome and impressive performance!
November 17th, 2019 at 1:37 AM ^
Shea brought it today. Straight up cold blooded. So happy for him.
November 17th, 2019 at 12:50 PM ^
Amazing, record setting performance. Yeah, he dorfed a few but what mortal college QB doesn't? It is very comforting to know that we now have a working passing game to burn opposing defenses when our running game isn't moving the ball.
November 18th, 2019 at 4:42 AM ^
He now has the most passing yards of any Michigan QB ever in an MSU game. Former record holder is the excellent Mr. Tom Brady.
Great game, Shea Patterson! There are lots of us Wolverine fans who are grateful that you are a Wolverine.
This is another game that is a big, wonderful "FU" to the haters out there.
