I had a few thoughts as i watched Zona tear into USC... 1.) While college football has "caught up with some offenses or version of the spread... RichRod's still has great relevance. 2.) RichRod is a gifted play caller. He has a great feel for the game... couldn't help but crack a smile at a few of those quick seam roy roundtree specials he threw at USC.
Big win for him.

Mattison said he would only come back to the college game for Brady Hoke. (personal friend) That's why. He was coaching a minor team called the BALTIMORE RAVENS before. Another good reason not to go for Rich Rod.

It was a pretty good day for the spread option. RR wins, Ohio beats PSU, Oregon hammers Colorado, and ND beats OK.

Wish him the best. Sometimes wonder what could have been if he hadn't let his hires sabotage our D

close to being 7-1 and knocking off 4 top 20 teams. Not bad for year 1 under Rich. Sorry to the haterz but our boy Rich can coach.

I have nothing against the guy, I wanted to give him one more year up until the Gator Bowl. Getting manballed by Mississippi State was the last straw for me. That was probably as embarrassed as I have ever been to be a UofM fan, worse than App State.

Dammit, so no hope for us hiring him to be OC then?

Overall, I want to see Rrod do well - but he definitely kept his QB in to finish out the drive after he ahd clearly suffered a concussion. After the score, he took him out for the rest of the game. Don't like it.
