Look - if you could "almost" be his mother, that puts you in the late-30s, early-40s range at most (otherwise I'm sure you would have left out the almost).  That's not ewwww.  At least not for him.  A 20 year old man can learn a lot from an encounter like that....at least that's what I've heard.

This basketball program has shown a wondrful ability to develop players.  It goes up and down the line.  A guy like Jordan Morgan can come in, completely reshape his body, and become a pretty damn good player.  Stauskas is gonna be very good this year I think.

I used this excuse as a skinny high schooler for not wanting to lift weights in the off-season.   Why would I want to ruin my silky smooth shot by adding muscle mass to my arms and chest?   Hogwash.  Sure wish I would've pounded those weights more to produce tangible strength increases like Nik.   This definitiely bodes well for Nik's all-around game.  Color me as excited.

Oh, you mean like when he disappeared in that big game against Florida in the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament--going 7/8, 6/6 from three, for 22 points to lead Michigan into their first Final Four in 20 years (since the Fab Five). Yep, disappeared...

...skinny teenager and inevitably got a bit worn down as the B1G season progressed. His dedication to conditioning and training is obvious to see. On the Michigan Insider earlier this week, the asst coaches said he'd increased his vertical leap by six inches. Combine his deadly 3 pt shooting, his ability to execute the ball screen offense from the wing with his increased strength and hops and you've got much more than a shooter.

Northpolehoops.com is doing a documentary on Stauskas called "The Process". Unfortunate name aside, it should be fun to watch. According to their site, Stauskas added 16 lbs of muscle mass to his frame. The link includes a teaser trailer of the documentary which someone could embed for me since YouTube is blocked here at work.
