Melo is super full of himself. He could be one of the greatest scorers of all time if he put his head on straight. Timmy needs to back off a little though, Melo has a pretty good body of work.

Carmelo Anthony being accused of not playing team basketball? I'm shocked...

Also, Carmelo Anthony shouldn't threaten to kick anyone's ass when he's the poster child for the Out of Shape, In Shape Guy Club.

Hahahaha Melo is softer than baby poop. Dude tries throw his weight around the locker room, as if he's a seasoned winner like Kobe. Please.

Interesting that THJ and Melo can't coexist. Sorry Junior, but you may get traded away if the franchise star doesn't like you. Miami would take you with open arms - DWade loves THJ, has known him since he was a boy, and would probably groom him to take over the SG spot.

With a 1st year rookie coach and the Zen Master overlooking that Knicks franchise, it's a mess of egos all over the place. Would not go there.

You have to build a team around him how Philly use to build around Iverson. Put a bunch of role players, defenders, rebounders, etc. and let him score 30 a game on 30 attempts. Probably still won't win a championship.

I don't know who that guy is, but Carmelo is a total DB! Although THJ had his moments of "hero ball" in AA that didn't always go well....That being said, Carmelo is probably one of the worst guys to play basketball with. During his "documentary" which was basically a self serve fellatio fest, he (paraphrasing) stated that "he could've gone to Chicago, who needed one player, a player like me, to take them to the next level" but that he would rather "stay in New York and be around what he has built" GTFO! The audacity to believe that you have built anything when your team is a bottom feeder says more than enough about him! He has and will continue to be about the money.

Give me Jimmy Buckets at the 2 all day. Since Melo really plays the stretch 4 I don't want him taking any Big Man's minutes in Chicago.

Not surprised they can't coexist. I mean, How can Timmy even talk to Melo without at least a 2 floor NYC office?

I was at a game once when the Knicks were in town, and there was a little boy with his dad near where we were sitting. At one point in the game, the kid turned to his dad and asked "Daddy, why is number 7 the only one who shoots the ball?" And the dad didn't miss a beat, replying "Because, son, that's Carmelo Anthony."

Only the Knicks and players like Melo could look at a system like the triangle that's won 11 championships (with the Lakers and Bulls) and say that it doesn't work and should be changed. It would have been the best thing for them if they never brought JR Smith or Melo back.

There would be no worse player to have to play with than Anthony. He is everything I try to make sure my kids never admire or act like as youth players. They think he's awful anyways but still, the man is poison.

black hole of ball movement; never saw a shot he didn't like.  Weak defender, and doesn't really seem to care about winning.  So, sort of Kobe but without caring about winning.  Can't see him ever suceeding in any organization.

I know Carmelo outside of basketball. He stayed in NY to build a champion from ground up rather than coast to a trophy on a team already there. I've met Tim at events with Carmelo outside of basketball. Despite the UofM connection, Tim has been aloof and even a bit cold in our conversations. Both guys want to win so imagine this is more about scheme than personalities.
