OT: NFL Sunday 10/22

After last night, I'm still in football mode.

Lions are down early to the Ravens 14-0. Harbaughs are up 63-0, and they never forget.

I honestly don't care about the NFL in general but whenever I decide to tune in I have to tune back out when I see how much Hutchinson gets held and gets pretty much zero calls. Just got straight arm barred on that last play. Tackle even got away with a false start on top of it.

I was messing around with an NFL trade simulator. It measures value aling with a team being able to actually afford the deal financially. I doubt the Raiders would do it, but Maxx Crosby for the Lions 2nd rounder in 2024 works. I was willing to do James Houston and our 1st. The pick is going to be late 20's to 30s. I'd do it. Teams can't shift to double Aidan if Crosby is there. And the UM and EMU combo is *chef's kiss from a PR standpoint.

Wow, the Ravens have 28 points and the Lions have only 13 yards. That's pretty impressive particularly given that Detroit doesn't have a turnover.

Not the game you folks are watching, but Myles Garrett just jumped over the Indy RG, without touching him, to block a field goal.

Guy's almost 300 pounds; it took hurdle-a-fool to a level I wouldn't have thought possible.

Tough spot here for the Lions. An important win last week and now on the road to a good team, and dealing with tons of injuries on top of it.

Plus, every NFL team, even good teams, will throw in a clunker now and then. The sky is not falling after one week.
