OT: MSU FB Loses Two More Commits
After losing Naquan Jones (4* DT) yesterday, MSU has lost two other players today: Jonah Morris (3* OLB), and Abdul Adams (3* RB). They have dropped down to #15 in 247's composite rankings for the 2016 recruiting class. UM's class is now ranked higher by Scout, Rivals, and 247.
Can this all be blowback from the Nebraska game? That seems unlikely. But that's a lot to lose in 24 hours for apparently unrelated reasons.
P.S. I know, we/I should absolutely not care about MSU's recruiting, I sound like they do with Little Brother Complex, etc. I, personally, find this information interesting and think others might too...

He may want to return his alma mater to relevance.

don't want Dantonio to leave. I want him to stay so we can beat him a few times, then he can go if he wants.

I'm with you. I don't want him to leave until Harbaugh evens the score with him, but I have a feeling he'll leave long before then. I've even noticed that his tone when referring to UM is a lot more concilliatory now. He knows what's coming.

Only the most delusional of Sparty slappies thinks that Dantonio has an edge on Harbaugh at a coaching level, in terms of assistants, in recruiting. Add in the Michigan Difference, national brand etc. and he's staring at a monster with Harbaugh here.
Perhaps better to take Spurrier's money and try to reclaim something at the other USC.

Apparently not everyone wants to join Dantonio at Thermopylae when the Wolverines invade East Lansing....

was because they were betrayed by another Greek.
So who will be MSU's Ephialtes of Trachis?

Well, you see, they told all those kids they were selling results rather than hope, and the kids can probably look at the games on the field and determine whose results they are going to want to buy for the next four years.

Glad to oblige:
"I think the brand is strong right now," Dantonio said. "People want to come to Michigan State and be a part of this, and that's exciting."

for not listening to his mother.

MSU is now regressing back to the mean, which is an annual 7-9 win team. Their best years during the Dantonio era are behind them, '13 & '14. It's a good time for him to bail because it only gets harder from here for Dantonio & Co.

Come on.
I was at that game and I can assure you that Sparty did not outplay Michigan.
They got lucky, unbelievably lucky but they didn't outplay anyone.
What a ridiculous assessment you have made.

Come on now. You have been listening to too many sparty fans.
November 11th, 2015 at 8:31 PM ^
I thought it was evenly played game where we were going to win it because of special teams. Wouldn't say anyone out coached the other.
Kenny Allen has been a huge find and they got the #1 kicker a few years ago and hes horrible now.
And then hell froze over with 10 seconds left and I don't remember at least 48 hours after that.
November 11th, 2015 at 9:16 PM ^
"he's horrible" is a bit strong when we're talking 18 or 19 year old kids with years of eligibility left over.
November 12th, 2015 at 6:38 PM ^
The kid went from missing 1 FG his freshman year to basically missing 1 a game this season. What other word would you use?
November 11th, 2015 at 9:30 PM ^
It was the other way around... even with unprecedented ref gifts.
THEY were "kinda lucky" to be in a position to win, after our DL was put on notice that anyone falling into anyone would be called against Michigan.
No, I don't call that outplaying us on our home field. I call that the higher ranked team being given every accomodation possible, and some that no one would have previously thought possible.

Commits psychology is nearly as soft as the fanbases.
Cmon guys it was a serious shucking but you have to work thru it.
By the way there are rumors there prized possession Auston Robertson won't qualify academically either.

Well Naquon Jones is all Ole Mi$$$$$ crystal balled the past 12 hours so we know exactly why that one happened.
The RB is crystal balled to Maryland over MSU which is just a slap in the face. Talk of "being homesick" (he hasn't left the state yet last I checked).
The other guy is a low 3 star type.
