OT: Microsoft flagging MGoBlog as "unsafe"
Has anyone else been warned by Microsoft that MGoBlog is an unsafe website, and been recommended to navigate to their homepage instead?
Is it just my computer, or has someone (or group of someones) reported this site to microsoft in an attempt to block access?

Rated R type content since the PSU game.

The MS website it directs me to mentions malicious code, not necessarily a content thing.

Sounds more like a phishing scam to me, which would be even more worrisome.

Microsoft has recently determined that frequent visits to MGoBlog has been linked with increased levels of depression and alcohol abuse.

My first thought after reading the title of this thread was: When did Microsoft engineer the ability to assess the mental makeup of a computer user and determine if he/she is succeptable to going "postal" after visiting a website.

Considering it's a website about michigan football they probably knew you were most likely already on edge.

No problems here, I'm no computer expert but it may be related to your firewall settings. Maybe see if there is a way to add mgoblog as a safe and secure site?

This message was put together by MS in anticipation of the upcoming loss to Illinois, with an eye towards the dangerously toxic levels of anger, rage, recrimination, and self-pity on MGoBlog Saturday afternoon.

If it is possible to "boo" someone via the internet, I'm "booing" you right now.

That is all.

Is there any wonder why this site is unsafe?
November 4th, 2010 at 2:47 PM ^
It's probably picking up a bad ad. The site itself is fine.

MGoBlog has flagged Microsoft as unsafe (and unreliable, and unreasonable, and un-useful, and big POS, and so on).
November 4th, 2010 at 4:14 PM ^
Debian/Chromium seems quite happy with MGoBlog.
November 4th, 2010 at 4:28 PM ^
They flag a lot of things as unsafe...I generally ignore it as I know where I am going. Might be the ads, who knows.

Because RichRod can't fucking recruit a decent web browser.
November 4th, 2010 at 5:33 PM ^
If you can't be safe on mgoblog then where can you be safe?
November 4th, 2010 at 5:42 PM ^
Come on. Who doesn't know that you're taking your life in your own hands when you dial up this site?
November 4th, 2010 at 5:47 PM ^
I would say it sounds like Sparty is up to some tricks if I thought that anyone in East Lansing had the wherewithal to do such a thing.
November 4th, 2010 at 5:58 PM ^
MGoBlog is perfectly safe unless you get on the wrong side of Lamarr Woodley in a discussion thread....and if you're stupid enough to do that, well then you're on your own.
November 4th, 2010 at 6:02 PM ^
It is unsafe...We have lost the last 3 games
