I'm in the same boat as you being a Browns/UM fan.
But, Edwards was his own worst enemy in Cleveland, not the fans. His stint with the Jets further proved this.
|3 years 24 weeks ago||I don't post here.||
I've been a lifelong fan, reader of Mgoblog awhile, and decided to join the boards sometime during the RR years. I know I don't have thousands of post so if you're the type of person who sees that as validation, you can stop reading.
The concept of hiding posts with a downvote is good in theory, but the execution is the terrible. People hide quality, thought out posts simply because they don't agree.
The refusal of talking about RR is ridiculous. The man busted ass for this school, he deserves to be mentioned - and like him or not, he's part of the team's tradition. If we can't talk about RR, then we can't talk about Bo. Frankly, I wouldnt mind seeing him come into the Big House and hang 50 pts on us.
Roll Damn Tide left...Did people actually think he was a Bama fan?

Wile can kick.
Norfleet is a solid returner.
Gardner to Gallon will be commonplace next year.

Say what you will, but Seven Nation Army had the stadium rockin' like I had never experienced before.For a stadium that is known for having the most fans (and the most quiet), why would we not have it played?Oh thats right, because it doesn't match your personal musical taste. Ya know, forget the advantage and excitement for the kids on the field.

I'd say we have a 50-50 chance.

I think the defensive backs played excellent today, given the fact that Denard wasn't in. This is a good sign, given that not every QB will have the game changing-speed of Denard.
Rawls looks to have a nice future, maybe not this year, but he's got potential.
Wile kicked a nice FG, 40-some yarder IIRC?
|5 years 1 week ago||Quick Question||
How long does the spring game usually last? Is there a lot of stoppage and what not? Reason I ask is I have prior commitment later that night and am trying to decide if it's worth the drive in comparison to how much action I'd see.

Voted for #21...but I see Barry Sanders winning out in the end.

I know this goes against everything holy but Jalen's commentating can be down right brutal at times..

Yea these are less than appealing, but at least the guy made an effort and was having some fun with it..lets not rip him entirely. And truthfully, if someone would have posted the UTL uniforms 5 years ago they probably would have gotten the same reaction.

|5 years 8 weeks ago||My take||
Nascar is one of those sports that you truly have to understand what's going on to enjoy. The average viewer sees cars going in circles, that's just the way it is. Fans see the driver relationships/personalities, the experience curve, the action in the pits, etc etc.
It's a lot like hockey, very few people can be talked into enjoying hockey by friends. It's just one of those things that happens.
That being said, I'll be rooting for Mark Martin in this one. He's getting to the tail end of his career and for him to win a 500 would be a nice way to start what may be his last year.
|5 years 8 weeks ago||Somebody help me out here||
...why does everyone refer to combine times as "unoffical". It seems to me that if any time were to be "offical" it would be the combine time..So what does one have to do to get an "offical" time.
|5 years 11 weeks ago||Brock Mealer||
was the best piece of this article. Him walking to midfield to touch the banner before the home opener against UConn is still one of my favorite moments at the Big House. Keep working hard, Brock.

For some reason I don't think this is a done deal..But if it is, good luck.
|5 years 13 weeks ago||Look we get it, you EXPECT a||
Look we get it, you EXPECT a NC every year (and anyone who doesn't should be a Missouri fan). Simply put, thats unrealistic. A quick look at the Horror is great reason why you don't EXPECT anything.
|5 years 13 weeks ago||NOLA Blue||
I have a house I want to sell you...
|5 years 13 weeks ago||Against my better judgement||
..I'm going to throw my hat into this discussion.
"Expecting" a NC run next year is setting yourself up for a letdown, IMO.
Without going into much detail, the loss of Team 132, in particular, Junior Hemingway is much bigger than what we may imagine. Couple that with one heck of a schedule and our NC picture gets pretty dull.
However, a B1G championship? That's a possibilty, but I don't know if I'd take it much further than that.
Like I said, this is all my opinion and the returners in the secondary, Denard, Fitz, and Roundtree (to name a few) could make me look like a fool.
|5 years 17 weeks ago||In attempt to save the thread||
Whats the story on this guy? Was he a big time prospect coming out of high school who for whatever reason went to Baylor, or was he an under the radar guy?
|5 years 17 weeks ago||Sports Science is pretty neat||
Sports Science is pretty neat but I can't help but feel like some of it BS..Not trying to knock it (or Denard's segment) but some of them leave you wondering how in the hell they would even calculate some of the stuff..
Then again it is science and I was never good in that subject..

Coming from a "Wal-Mart Wolverine" this website is just pathetic..I don't find myself offended at all. The website only makes the Spartan fanbase look jealous and childish.
The majority of these pictures are people who seemingly are from low income families, obese or just plain old average people having a good time.
|5 years 24 weeks ago||Whew||
I know its a combonation of Brady's media approach and bad questions, but reading his presser is just painful.
|5 years 27 weeks ago||I have to disagree here, I||
I have to disagree here, I think OSU could very well be the favorite, but certainly not dominant. They lost some good perimeter players. Of course, Craft and Sully will be a year older, but they will be missing some key players from last year, IMO
