Is it? I honestly don't know a single Louisville fan. I've never met one; and, to my knowledge, I've never worked with one. Outside of the Championship Game a few years ago, I don't really think about them, and they are entirely irrelevant to me.

There are many more fan bases - in my mind - that deserve implosions, especially in basketball. The "blue blood" programs all seem to engineer some magnitude of cheating, and several actively flaunt it in front of the NCAA (e.g. UK and UNC). I'd prefer to see one of them get a death sentence. Not only would I laugh more, but I think it would have a broader implication for UM too.

Another +1

They absolutely do deserve this. The blackmail affair didn't bother them; hookers for the players? No problem. Now this. Not to mention they have Petrino and his exploits running their football program.

They deserve this and more.

You know what else this guy deserves?  How about jailtime.  Even if the assistants are the ones charged with bribery, what if Pitino and other head coaches knew about the scheme (yeah, what if) and took kickbacks as part of the deal?  Maybe these assistants sing like birds.

Think any others at these universities getting paid on the back end have been claiming these kickbacks on their taxes.  IRS interested?

That's some quality schadenfreude.

The guy suggesting Beilein is only slightly less crazy than the guy that proclaims "Brad Stevens or shut the program down."
