OT: Holy Shit We Better Win on Saturday

So my douchebag friend grew up in Owosso a huge MSU fan, but recently got a job in his wife's hometown of Hell....I mean Columbus, OH.

So now my douchebag friend is apparently a huge MSU fan AND OSU fan. Talk about stupid.

Anyways, he kept texting me while I was at work about how Michigan sucks and both of his schools are going to bowl games and Michigan has zero chance, so I called him afterwards and it was getting pretty heated.

Then Forcier somehow, some way took over my body for about 10 seconds and I blurted out, "Put your Facebook where your mouth! Let's bet on the game -- Michigan wins and your status has to say, "Go Blue! Hail to the Victors!" and if Ohio State wins my status will say, "Go Bucks!" and then some not-as-cool saying similar to "Hail to the Victors".

I know this is a pointless post. I'm sorry for wasting your time.

But while I'm typing I should say this... while I'm semi-regretting actually betting on the game, I'm sick of you fairweather fans. Cheer for your team. Still wear your Michigan shirts. Don't try to closet the fact you're a Wolverine. If Michigan is your team, let Michigan be your team. ALL IN FOR MICHIGAN. GO BLUE!

Yeah.

I mean I re-read my post and I could see how it looks like I was freaking out. Most of it was in a joking, exaggerating way, but that usually doesn't translate in typed words. Oh well. Most of it, that is, until the end. I really am sick of that shit. But the parts about my friend and our bet were exaggeratingly (yep) joking.

When I was young, we actually wagered something called "money" on football games. The way it would work is that the guy whose team lost would have to "pay" a predetermined amount of "money" to the guy whose team had won the game. It was all pretty cut and dried. I know it's ridiculously old-fashioned and all, but I still recommend it over this thing called "Facebook."

Who I feel sorry for is him. Despite rooting for two Big Ten teams that hate Michigan, he's gotten to celebrate a combined four trips to Pasadena...in 25 years.

When we get to that much of a dry spell is when I jump off a ledge.
