OT: Good grief Krzyzewski is a douche (Max Bielfeldt related)

Apparently Bielfeldt accidentally bumped Coach K while leaving the floor at halftime and the coach threw a hissy fit about it, even getting into it with Crean. Who wins in that douche-off?

I realize this isn't exactly real news on a day we lost our D-Coordinator, but I just don't get some people. Is someone like Krzyzewski so petty that he can't let something as minor as this go? I guess the answer is yes.

Just reason 10 million and one to hate Duke basketball.

I mean I don't really care considering the stunt Crean pulled in 2013.    He deserves anything that comes his way.

Plus he has had multiple blow by handshakes with Beilein.

The guy is a prick and deserves to get chewed out by anyone with a voice.

Assholes deserve to be treated like assholes.

trip over the enormous calves of Max? Then it's his own fault for not getting out of the way. Yes, another reason to hate the Douche Blue Devils!

It's hard to tell exactly, but the video looks to me like Coach K ran into Max and Max gave him the old "get off me" shoulder. K's fault. Go Max!

It looks like Coah K was walking right towards Max, max turned and slightly nudged a man walking right into him. Unfortunately for Coach K, he weights a lot less and moved a lot.

I like how he responds about when someone runs into you, you say sorry, yet he didn't say sorry either, and I imagine there is some code about

"If you and another guy accidentaly bump into each other, and it's noone's fault, you don't go crying to the officials, and then act like a little bitch, and yell at the other coach about it."

but that's just me.

Well coach K has had 8,000 hip replacements so I surmise he was very worried about having to have another by being bumped.

Is amazing the media immunity that K has. I don't know if there is a more pompous, condescending individual in sports. It goes far enough that he is a bad example for his players. It is starting to show in some of his players and former players. (One of which he failed to investigate and report about sexual misconduct, and still, crickets from the media).

You just described izzo.

Feds said Payne/Appling rape case was completely botched.

Hell there is an ongoing lawsuit between ESPN and msu dealing with off the field stuff and its hardly been mentioned locally.

the Green Wall? Yeah, that is going strong. State fans will tell you that there is a local Michigan media bias when MSU has a prominent football player on the field who pulled a gun on somebody THIS YEAR and not a mention of that. Plenty of talk about Tully-Tillman though. Entire articles about it.

Multiple players with DUIs.

Meanwhile the only arrest video magically available is Minick.

Funny how the Gibbons thing (no criminal charges) was okay to openly discuss and the excuse for no reporting on Payne/Appling was there were no charges.

Also, still waiting on that Bullough investigation from the same media that sent reporters to Florida to research Demar Dorsey.

I've gone to multiple coaching clinics where coach K was a speaker.  The guy clearly knows how to motivate, and clearly knows his shit, but damn, the man has a sailors mouth and was kind of a dick when the presentation was over. Oh well.

I am normally proud of Polish-American people who accomplish great things. Coach K is an ass. I'm not sure he's really one of us. I also need to find a way to work douche-off into my insult repertoire. Well done.

Geez. He's hustling in for halftime, yeah maybe he bumped him and should have said sorry, but maybe he did and the old fart didn't hear it over the crowd noise. Either way, (and this goes for all pissy-pants coaches-especially Mike Dantonio,) they're kids, you're an adult. Act like one. Handle it on the field/court, or if is bad enough, go to their coach, but you've got no business getting into it with a player from another school. K turns around and stands there with this "how dare you" look...what a prick.

It's not Max's fault. coach k is like 3 ft tall and Max is like 6'10" or something like that. Max can't see every piece of shit in his way and will step on some from time to time.

There was a lot less going on behind the curtain with Knight. What you saw was what you could expect to get. Reporters, players, students, professors, administration all expectes the same gruff treatment.  Right or wrong.

Coach K runs a pretty tight ship, image-wise, and he carefully measures his statements.  That's what makes a spontaneous incident like the one with our old friend Biefeldt so interesting.

Otherwise, I don't care what happens in post-game handshakes in any sport.
