OT: Florida's Bold new Recruiting Strategy
http://www.sbnation.com/college-football-recruiting/2013/4/24/4260644/f…
Obviously, Florida's recruiting strategy has been in trouble lately. Watching last year's offense was painful, and it's clear that they need some help when it comes to talent. They've decided to really up the ante by posting bad photoshops to their twitter accounts, which EDSBS has happily compiled for our viewing. Most of these are way too good to be missed.
The MLK, Jr. ones, on the other hand...
Florida fans are sorted into houses by the Jorting Hat okay I'm done.

"Chasing the standard?"
Harry played seeker, not chaser. I mean, if he's a chaser, where's the quaffle?
Since 2010 they've had one year where they've been outside the top 5.
Seems like they're doing pretty well to me.
Seriously. Outside of Alabama, I think Florida has probably been the top recruiting team the last 5 years or so.
Yeah, or USC maybe, but it's fair to say they're a top 5-ish team, recruiting-wise.
It had subpar recruiting years at the end of the Urban era (short as it was). It is now at the top of the rankings and with all of the talent in the state, should stay there (assuming no Auburn related fallout).
Yea, seems kind of dumb saying a team with top 5 classes year in and year out, with currently, the #1 ranked class in the "ESPN Team Recruiting," is having trouble bringing talent in.
Sorry, was trying to be sarcastic. Shouldn't have juxtaposed it with something serious (the painful offense from last year).
Please keep doing this, Florida.
This.
I was most amused by the use of Spartacus, a show dominated by softcore porn plus a few weiners and a fifth grader's idea of fight scenes. Parents will love that... What was that about the possibility of Florida still being a player for Hand?
Are these really real? They can't possibly be, can they? No, seriously. Really???
eyes hurt. bad, very bad.

What SEC kids fall for is little green rectangular pictures. Lots and lots of them.
I didn't think it was possible but upon viewing, each shop is worse than the previous.
Thanks for ruining Braveheart...
Absolutely absurd
and you think you have this wonderful and creative idea, well, as it turns out, it's not such a great idea. I think this recruiting scheme was launched in a bar after several rounds of drinks.
what....the...fuck...
According to the comments on SBNation (completely joking, of course), it is not the first time Florida has gone with this sort of off-the-wall approach to garnering interest. It's been a while, but I could see this about ten years ago:
I see real potential for the SEC here....
looking for Will Hill in the background
I thought Juggalos were STAEE fans.
Think of the result if you combined this with "You're a Baller" fax.
It's like a bunch of awkward dads got together, learned photoshop, and then somehow got jobs coaching the Florida Gators
Run away Timmy, while you still can. Save yourself!
Wait, this is real? I thought this was a joke.
Those two possibilities are not mutually exclusive.

Delightful, that's the only word I can use to describe these.
The best part is that I cannot imagine Hoke or any of the other Michigan coaches agreeing to do this or trying to do it themselves. So I feel safe in laughing at UF fans knowing that these exist and they exist because of their football program.
U of Florida doesn't even have one. I think this was started in the 80's and was renewed with new vigor in oh, say, 2005.
So, if these are real, they are adults' conceptions of what kids think are cool? Why don't they just have some HS kids do it?
