I don't think they scored on that drive, if it's the same one I'm thinking of.  The phantom hold was on at the end of the half, Oregon would have had 1'st and 10 from the OSU 13 with about a minute to go, already up 7.  That took them out of FG range and they punted.

“throwing for over 470 yards against the #12-ranked team in the country”

What a perfect example of how it’s not total yards that matter, but rather when and where you get them (and most importantly when and where you do not). For as many yards as he threw for, the real story in this game is all about the dozen or so yards that he did not.

Yes and no. I mean, come on, for a freshman quarterback, you can't really ask for more than that, can you? When a team loses, sure, it's always easy to say "he didn't do enough," but I didn't think the story of the game was Stroud's failure. OSU couldn't run the ball, and more surprisingly, just couldn't stop Oregon when they needed to.

I'm not saying Stroud's a Hall of Famer. Just ... 470 yards? That's pretty good.

Jeebus. I looked at the 11W and it's not good.

We complain about things and speak of BPONE. Apparently, the Defensive Coordinator is literally the worst defensive coordinator of all recorded history. Further, despite throwing for like 470 yards CJ Stroud is taking some heat. Mostly it's their DC.

The BPONE is great over there and I love it.
