Notre Dame's Nix fires back at Coach Hoke
Chickened out? #MeatChicken will taste delicious Sept 7th. #GoIrish
— lOUIS NIX III (@1IrishChocolate) May 14, 2013
I don't think Coach necessarily wanted to provide bulletin board material to Notre Dame, but now each has it
*I hate the term bulletin board material, especially for a rivalry game that doesn't need it. UTL at the Big House speaks for itself in its magnitude
BEAT NOTRE DAME
To Hell With Notre Dame.
That doesn't even make sense. Hoke called them chickens, and their response is "Chicken will taste delicious"? Is he saying that Michigan will eat Notre Dame?
That's what I took from it too.
"You think we're chicken? Well, chicken is delicious, so while you're beating us this fall, imagine that you're also eating a bunch of chicken. Grilled, fried, whichever you prefer."
we just Nix Louis right off the field when our OLine pounds him repeatedly into the ground on 9/7/13 starting at about 8PM eastern time. Oh yeah, hey Louis.....STFU!
Possibly meaning wolverine meat? I'm assuming that's what Nix meant? Nonetheless, weak comeback bro..
Nobody makes Notre Dame bleed their own blood!!!!!
Meatchicken is one of many terrible alterations of Meeechigan. I've heard it before.
I think Nix began to talk trash, but then his mind began to wander and he started thinking about food.
Have you seen Brian Kelly?
He does have some tender chicken breasts
That has to be the lamest insult-pseudonym I've ever seen for anything. Yes, chickens are made of meat. Furthermore, chicken meat is delicious. How is this not compliment?
We'll see you Sept. 7th Mr. Nix.
Louis Nix has a Mlive account?
on both sides. Should be really enlightening.
3.56 inches
5 fakes out of 5
in diameter.
Ah? Ah?
From the ground.
Welcome my man...
We call it "the kickstand."
Its like a babies arm, holding an apple.
Now that sounds like a good summer.
Wasn't he that one guy who was president once?
More of a good natured jab I think
@Jake_Brown Hoke is a big guy so I respect him. I'm all about jokes....fires me up for season.
Still-
and
also ND was selling pre-order advanced copies of the BCS national championship game on DVD, assuming they would win, weeks before the game aired.
Under a different title however; Apocalypse Now. With Brian Kelly playing Colonel Kurtz.
Don't forget the first release, Heart of Darkness, with BK playing the part of Mr. Kurtz.
Well that game was in 2013 so I guess the title is still correct?
Not too difficult to earn this guy's respect. Really though we all knew there would be soe kind of response to Hoke's statement. I expected more than this to be honest.
So MeatChicken is supposed to be Michigan? Is that a thing?
Unfortunately yes. MSU and OSU fans use in on the internet a good amount.
Huh. I have never heard that before. It is also not very insulting. I know that scUM isn't terribly clever, but "scum" is a bad thing, and it has UM in the word, so I get it. Chicken, on the other hand, is either delicious and healthy (when prepared properly) or just simply delicious. It is also high in protein and relatively affordable. It is a staple in nearly every culture'e cuisine.
Americans eat grilled chicken or fried chicken, the French have chicken cordon blue, Italians have chicken parmisian, Indians have chicken tikka masala, Thailand has chicken curry (I prefer Panang or Yellow), China has Kung Pao Chicken, Spain has chicken paella, Mexico has chicken tortas, and so on. Except Ethiopian, that seems to be all vegetarian. This went on a little longer than I had originally intended, but you get the picture. We all love chicken.
I think it is supposed to resemble Meeeechigan but yeah it is good and terrible. I guess it meeeeechigan and meatchicken sound similar to dumb asses.
Yeah, I get that is sounds similar. But what I'm saying is that it's just not an insult, as specified above.

Chicken, on the other hand, is either delicious and healthy (when prepared properly) or just simply delicious. It is also high in protein and relatively affordable. It is a staple in nearly every culture'e cuisine.

So when coach Hoke said it, he was giving ND a compliment?
It's possible. He's a great guy.
You replied as I was trying to fix it. Now everyone knows I'm a blockquote n00b
Yum.
Chicken tikka masala . . .Kung Pao Chicken . . . fried chicken . . . chicken curry . . .
This thread, especially your post, has made me hungry.
