Night Game Thread, per popular demand

This should be good for some laughs, except, I think we will see good football here.

They lost to Virginia Tech because they are so young.  4 starters on the O-line who hadn't started a game before this season, and a QB who missed most of his senior year of high school and then redshirted who didn't start getting first team reps until 11 days before the start of the season.  They just weren't very good at that point.

PSU is less understandable.  They were up 17-0 in the second half on the road at night, and Barrett threw a pick-6 and got rattled.  He's young and inexperienced.

They're going to be scary good next year.

Herbstreit sounds happy.  You can hear a little extra crackle in his voice now that the Buckeyes are up by 11.

Dude on Utah has a runaway touchdown drops the football too early on the 1 yd line... Everyone stands around... Then Oregon realizes its a live balll, tries to pick it up.. ANOTHER UTAH player picks it up DROPS IT AGAIN... then Oregon recovers and runs it back for a TD! LOL

Biggest WTF of the year LOL

Seeing an OSU offense struggle mightly against VaTech and now they are well oiled machine.  Heck, last year Sparty's offense was a joke at the beginning of the year and by the end of the year, they were darn good.  These teams get better as the season progresses by leaps and bounds while UM's offense maybe gets better at a snails pace over the course of a season.

Both these teams have football staffs equivalent to Beilen.  UM has the equivalent of Ellerbe.

Beilen's team get much better in February v November.  Same story for these teams - OSU lost so much to graduation on offense its amazing what they are doing, they are as young as us.  We are in the stone age.  With Ellerbe at the helm.

The difference in coaching is as wide as the grand canyon.  I remember over the summer/beginning of the season when the board was up in arms about Urban supposedly telling OSU recruits that the UM coaches don't develop the players they get, but he was spot on.

As someone else said, if OSU had a good punt return team which valued the ball and a guy who was content to fall on a fumble they'd be depanting MSU by 17-21 here.

MSu has played 2 well balanced  offenses this year and exposed by both.  Purdue also exposed them but doesnt have the talent of Oregon OSU.  You need a consistent accurate QB to beat MSU and sadly in the Big 10 there might be 2 of them - and MSU has one.  What a sad conference.

Lost to VT and went to OT vs PSU. Both those teams suck. They are whipping state who is good. So maybe the don't match up well vs. terrible teams. We have a chance!

I cannot stand MSU fans. I can at least respect OSU and one of us might as well be good for The Game so it maintains some level of relevance. I'd much rather have OSU win a national title than MSU win anything. OSU is a generally respected arch nemesis. I just hate MSU

OSU can put this away with a score here!  Well it may be some rough years ahead in the B1G if this is what OSU is going to be.

Better hire Harbaugh or equivelent yesterday, if there is any hope!
