Alabama up 7-0 on an officiating gift ruled an Auburn incomplete pass backward (it clearly wasn't), with no review.

Oregon - Oregon State upcoming

Muskegon - Orchard Lake St. Mary just now kicking off

Nothing else of consequence.

I know I was just saying if they take away coop then balls get thrown to a White or those monster tight ends across the middle. They have Yeldon running, Cooper at receiver, and half dozen four and five stars backing them up.

I don’t know about a triple team, but at least some safety help over the top every now and then, like teams do Calvin Johnson. Though Auburn is just so afraid of Alabama’s running attack, the safeties stay near the box and don’t provide much help in the pass defense. A lot of one on one DB coverage.

I've spent years making fun of Brent Musburger but then he disappeared until this game. I think I actually missed him. Chris Fowler just doesn't have the chemistry with Herbie.

I agree with you on Fowler, he's been awful. I think Nessler and Blackledge should be the top announce team.

The fact that we can (mostly) hang with OSU, the Big 10's (supposed) best team, well...what does that say about the Big 10 in general (not to pile on the SEC-lovin' that ESPN already does so well), but still...you know what I mean.

Can you imagine our team vs. either one of these two teams? Well, I guess we've seen it once in recent memory. Heh.

I'm in Tuscaloosa watching from my daughters dorm room, sipping on a glass of Titos following our 12 hour ride. The roar from the stadium - a half mile away - is unbelievable. The dorm however is as quiet as a funeral mass.

Their backs are unreal. They get five yards after contact on every run. I've been aware of yeldon but all of them are like that.

Yeah the guys 4-5 deep at running back can start at a lot of schools. The idea is to spread out the ball to keep fresh legs and make them have longer careers in the NFL because they won't be as beat up.

Agreed. And Bama will smoke Oregon IMO.

Bama can handle Oregon's offense, and now they also have an offense to go toe-to-toe with the likes of the Ducks.

I think the championship would look a lot like the Iron Bowl. Oregon may draw some blood early, but in the end, Bama will just run all over that Oregon defense. Can't see the ducks stopping the running game at all.
