Nebraska Snowflakes: The Defense

Didn't feel flashy. Super efficient, though. Hope Morris is ok.

Other than one drive they were lockdown all game. Minter is better than MacDonald.

146 total yards surrendered. Another utter domination by the nation’s best unit. 

Awesome as always. Beat Illinois. 

So round and muscular.

Excellent other than than the Qb scrambles early on. Hope Morris is ok.

The defense is good. Hawt take is Will Johnson is/will be better than both Dax and Peppers. Probably one of the best in quite some time.

Absolutely dominant.  I only hope Morris is ok.

This game was never in question, especially after the QB went off. Knowing the defense would not struggle allowed Harbaugh to relax the whole game.

Well, there was the annual early long completion over DJ Turner, but other than that, they looked good. Gonna need more pressure up the middle against Stroud though.

They only gave up 3 pts and 146 yds. Another A+ performance. I hope Mike Morris will be OK. Hated to see him limping late in the game.

Will Johnson + Mason Graham should be pretty dominant in a couple of years.  Those guys are already making plays as true freshmen.

The D has given up 3 second-half points in the last five games.  That is insane.  

They have allowed  3 points total in the second halfs of the last 5 games (Indiana forward)  this season.  Fantastic. 

1 FG to PSU is all they've given up in the 2nd half for the last 5 games.  Only way it could get better is if the D would put a couple TDs on the board per game.

Domination. One dime throw by Chubby and a couple QB runs, otherwise a total shutdown. Hats off to the players and to Minter.

Hope Morris is full-go for OSU.

Defense dominated. A couple of minor busts, and their only scoring drive was kept alive by a roughing penalty and qb scramble heroics. I think we'll be ready for The Game, especially with our rush offense eating up all the clock.

Hope there is nothing serious with Morris

Since Iowa (5 games), our second half score is 117-3 (!!!)

On the season, third quarter Michigan has allowed no more than 3 points in any quarter (twice). Fourth quarter Michigan has allowed no more than 7 points outside the final minute (four times). The other fourteen quarters in the second half were all shut outs. 

The two garbage time touchdowns had little impact on win probability. I guess Maryland might have gotten the ball back with about 0:40 if they recovered the onside kick. 

Just curious, why does football allow players to lead with the crown of the head to forcefully impact someone’s family jewels? #sainristil

The defense has been great this season, much better than I expected. I thought this season the offense was going to havef to bail this team out. So far they have not been tested by a good to great QB. May be MD.

Adjustment masters. Tackling still needs to improve 

Mazi, Jenkins and Colson are playing at All B1G levels. Our gang tackling happens damn near every play. I hope Morris is fine.
