Trey's steal and dunk after McGary stepped on the baseline vs. Sparty and then the miracle 3-pointers, after Kansas's epic meltdown.
But, you're right. Not getting them this season, thus far. But I'll take one in a huge road game later this year.

But McGary didn't actually step on the baseline. That was a blown call.

Why would you consider the 3-pointers "breaks?" Miracle 3-pointers are half court shots. Those 3 pointers came directly from the practice floor. Trey was squared up and got a clean shot off. That's just a clutch play.

Also, I don't see Trey's steal and dunk against MSU as a "lucky break" - it was just a great play.

Fuck Notre Dame. They can't even do this right.

Can't trust ND, is what GG loved to say!

Big Ten teams winning their OOC games is going to make it easier for us to make the tournament. Glad to see ND choke

That is so Ohio State of them.

14-3 run in 45 seconds.

That is very impressive.

Ohio killed ND with a trident.

Not how I wanted the game to end but the schadenfreude from this should be amazing.

I remain remarkably unimpressed with OSU, despite the comeback today. Just feels like one of those teams that looks good on paper but gets bounced early in the tournament.

This a million times over. The whole "let 'em play at the end" philosophy is the worst.
December 21st, 2013 at 11:05 PM ^
We almost blew our own game. It might not be a good idea to make fun of other teams.
December 21st, 2013 at 11:37 PM ^
I love a good Notre Dame fail. Too bad red faced Kelly isn't the basketball coach.

Dude is about two birthdays younger than me I think.

Michigan blowing a lead with a big ten title on the line and this game might be the worst chokes I've ever seen with a minute to go.
Also maybe throw our game with kansas last year in there.

Also I lol'd at this:
Garrick Sherman @gsherm11 4m
“@GottliebShow: Things worse than Garrick Sherman’s beard …go” your ability to stay eligible at Notre Dame

OSU is going to crash so hard in the conference season and I can't wait to see it. While our best basketball is ahead of us, they appear to be peaking in December.
December 22nd, 2013 at 12:32 AM ^
Michigan's best basketball is ahead. Damn well might as well be us that hands their asses a loss.

Those Damn Catholics had it coming to them today. Luck of the Irish my ass....

ESPN has the summary play-by-play here - scroll down to about 1:45 left in the 2nd half and then read the play exchanges. That had to be something to watch for Notre Dame fans, and not in a good way obviously.
I mean, at the 1:15 mark, they took a timeout, then turnover, OSU scores, turnover, steal, OSU scores, turnover, steal, foul and OSU makes both FTs to bring it to within one possession about 30 second of regulation later, and then it goes downhill.
December 22nd, 2013 at 11:17 AM ^
14 of those 31 points came in the final 50 seconds of the game.

And now ND's leading scorer, Jerian Grant, is out of school because of an "academic issue."
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2013/12/22/jerian-grant-leaves-notre-dame/4168539/
I'm guessing ND is going to lose at least a few games they would have otherwise won if they had him playing through the rest of the season.
