MSU: "Those Who Have Stayed Are Already Champions"
Looks like our friends from EL are out trolling again... I can't help but think they'll regret every word come Oct. 29

I've seen the "Catholics" in South Bend use that one on tshirts.

It's hardly fair to hold that against them, since the sport was only just invented that year.
August 25th, 2016 at 5:27 PM ^
Sounds like they are living in the past.

Staee is the only one that comes to mind.

Burning couches whether they win or lose?

#Disrespekt is their tradition except it won't matter anymore because now they've given Harbaugh board material and no one is going to write a book or make Halloween costumes after the ass kicking they get this year.

Sparty finally figured out that they are less likely to misspell the words if they just take something from us and modify it, rather than come up with their own stuff.

There is, apparently, no pride in stealing a phrase from a legend who coached the the current team's coach, before their fall awaits.
Here's my take on this Little Brother crime of passion, Dantonio is tired of his team taking a backseat to Michigan in preseason recognition and wants to motivate his group by this challenge. My only takeaway from it is that he is running scared, knowing he got beat last year and survived on luck, and knowing luck won't save him this year. Superstition is the way.
There is Superstition. Thirteen months of maybe, seven years of bad luck, good things in the past. When you believe in things you don't understand, you suffer. We will make them suffer. Those who wait, will get their revenge in spades and then enjoy the championships that follow.

You are talking about Bo stealing it from Bear? I'm confused, I thought you were talking about MSU.

So you'd rather lose to them head to head and not experience things like Big Ten title games and wins over OSU as long as you can keep telling yourself you are "big brother"? K, bud.

How about not furiously reaching for everything one can find in search for a triumph that has nothing to do with an actual football game? People here just come off as having a desperate need to feel superior and until their football team produces that feeling for them, they'll take anything else they can get. It's no less pathetic than Sparty's pathos.

That's why I don't side with the "Little Brother is played out" people. Sparty ties all of their success into comparisons with Michigan. UM is the standard for them and that's what makes you little brother. Win streaks won't change the mindset as this offseason has proven.

Fantastic. I cannot believe I haven't thought about it in this way.

Well let me see (looks over at 247's recruiting rankings...)...doesn't look like that strategy is working...maybe they should try something else..

Between chugging Faygo and going to ICP concerts (since he doesn't go to his own team's games similar to every other state "fan") he trolls mgoblog.

Truth-telling is trolling? Only on a college football forum. I'm fascinated by the tribalist delusion.

Not growing up in Michigan I don't know many Spartans, thus the little brother thing was a bit lost on me. That being said, I finally understand when you guys say "the msu universe gets its value directly from Michigan."
What a bunch of little brother asshats.
August 25th, 2016 at 3:50 PM ^
What you should realize is that most Spartan fans came our from lurking in their basements once they started winning. Once the losing starts then they shall slink back to where they came from.
