Most Trustworthy Users
When reading threads about various rumors or inner workings of the school, there are certain users that claim to "know people" or have some sort of inside knowledge. I'm just curious, besides the mods, are there any users on this site that have been "vetted" and we can confirm as being "in the know?" Essentially, I want to know who you listen to and who you ignore.

My son told me that he was playing Minecraft with a user named "MGoBlue". I'll pass along any recruiting hot takes from this source.

You can always trust me Yo. I have never lied or exaggerated anything. Never!

You're OK, but I vote for three as most trustworthy: WolverineDevotee, Benn, and DiscussMan.

where have i heard that before?

are fomo and Yo_Blue the same person? Let's look at the facts, you both joined in summer 2010, you both have italicized signatures, you both have an O as the second letter in your username, and you both have ~ 20K MGoPoints. Certainly seems suspicious to me.

Magnus. He runs TouchTheBanner and he isn't on Sam Webb's level, but he provides good information when he gets it.

I won't claim to be perfect at evaluating players, but I don't think I ever said that Melvin Gordon wasn't a D1 running back prospect.
EDIT: LOL. This is like the game of telephone. Because I was confused about your post, I went back and looked at my comments on Gordon. In a post in June of 2010 before Gordon's senior year, I said "Could also play safety" in regard to Gordon. Six years later, somehow that has turned into "You said he wasn't a D1 running back and Michigan would only take him as a safety." I didn't say he wasn't a D1 running back, and I also didn't say that Michigan would only take him as a safety. So basically the whole premise of your post is false. Again, I'm not perfect when it comes to evaluations, but you're severely misrepresenting what I said.

Did we just become best friends?

But that doesn't claim anything about Magnus's thoughts on Gordon as a RB, especially not as a D-I RB. It simply says that he doesn't think Michigan would take Gordon as a RB, which, IIRC, wasn't a completely atypical stance for him as a recruit.

Wait a minute...so your evidence so far is me saying that "at this point I don't think Michigan would take him" (he chose Wisconsin, and Michigan wasn't contacting him at that point) and "the only way he comes to Michigan might be as a safety, which is a longlonglongshot" (he chose Wisconsin, where he didn't play safety)? That's a roundabout way of coming to a conclusion.

That still doesn't coincide with your initial criticism, which was when I allegedly said "He's not a D1 running back." Now you're amending it to saying he's too small to play RB in the Big Ten, which I don't remember saying, either. It's possible since this all happened six years ago, but speaking of trustworthiness, I have yet to see much evidence that YOUR comments about me are very trustworthy. Your entire first comment in this section is essentially a lie about me.
Take my evaluations with a grain of salt. I don't care. I take evaluations from lots of analysts with a grain of salt. But don't lie about me.

I get your point but scouting and having the integrety to not make up sources, make proclaimations based off gut feelings, use cryptic, broad statements for clickbait, or releasing information before the time is right aren't really the same thing.

Magnus is trash. Everyone else is amazing.
Including Your Mom.
He/She may be the best.

I fully agree.
My Mom taught me how to play basketball. Unfortunately, it turned out that it wasn't easily translatable to league basketball because she taught me to be WAY too aggressive. We were CONSTANTLY fouling each other.
My Mom is a tiny woman. She's awesome.
