That name … is he related to Joan Jett?
December 17th, 2019 at 8:22 PM ^
It is Joan Jett.

She still has four years of eligibility. Why not?
December 18th, 2019 at 8:16 AM ^
Do you want to touch her there? Where? There? Where? There! Yeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!
December 18th, 2019 at 10:27 AM ^
I'm not sure if these lyrics have aged well.
December 17th, 2019 at 7:53 PM ^
I hear the coach had to sleep with the kid's mom to get him to visit.
December 17th, 2019 at 9:02 PM ^
Damn, that could be an ncaa violation. If it happened more than once we could be in real trouble!!!
December 17th, 2019 at 9:13 PM ^
Harbaugh and Don Brown gonna have to step their crootin games up
December 17th, 2019 at 9:33 PM ^
One of the oldest jokes in the book. And 100% appropriate!
Would be pretty cool to have him play for his dad.
December 18th, 2019 at 8:17 AM ^
Wilt Chamberlain would have been the best recruiter.
December 17th, 2019 at 8:03 PM ^
Did he commit?
December 17th, 2019 at 8:23 PM ^
Is this Desmond Howard's son?
December 17th, 2019 at 8:23 PM ^
With two other strong players poised to commit, I wonder if Juwan is planning to lower the boom on the basketball world, precipitating long lines of 4 and 5 stars outside Crisler begging to commit, too.
December 17th, 2019 at 8:25 PM ^
Who are the 2 other strong players?
December 17th, 2019 at 8:27 PM ^
Hunter Dickinson and I'm guessing he means Terrance Williams? Josh Christopher is also a possibility that I think some people are underestimating our chances with
December 17th, 2019 at 8:35 PM ^
I'm waiting for Williams to visit before I feel like hes serious to Michigan. There really hasn't been any crystal ball movement in any one direction since hes decommitted. I think if we can land Dickinson that should really help with Williams. As far as Cristopher, I just cant see that one happening. I would love to be wrong though.

How did this double-post end up here?
December 17th, 2019 at 11:09 PM ^
OK, I replied to a different comment and it ended up here - and as a double-post. That's a new one.
December 19th, 2019 at 10:48 PM ^
I wondered the same thing?
December 17th, 2019 at 8:40 PM ^
I will take any Howard we can get. Go Blue !!!
December 17th, 2019 at 8:44 PM ^
I'll pass on Howard the Duck.
December 17th, 2019 at 11:55 PM ^
I have a bunch of Howard the Duck comics. How funny to hear that come up here on the blog!!
December 17th, 2019 at 9:16 PM ^
Ron Howard would be solid
December 17th, 2019 at 8:57 PM ^
...also...Hunter is about to announce for the good guys!
If we can sign him and Todd...we can keep this thing going!
December 17th, 2019 at 9:41 PM ^
I'll take Zeb, Todd, Dickinson, Terrance Williams and Josh Cristopher/Adam Miller. That would be one hell of a class.
December 18th, 2019 at 8:04 AM ^
Is Adam Miller supposed to flip? I haven’t heard much about him
December 17th, 2019 at 9:11 PM ^
Jett is the elite one. Hopefully Howard forces him to Michigan
December 17th, 2019 at 10:49 PM ^
Hopefully, dad won't have to force him to Michigan...
December 17th, 2019 at 11:10 PM ^
Oh no guys Im serious. Juwan better throw him in the car and drive him to ann arbor and then lock him in crisler.
December 17th, 2019 at 9:25 PM ^
Damn. My parents named me "Jeff." Now I gotta sit here for at least 5 minutes and think about how much more play I would have gotten if they'd named me "Jett" instead.
December 17th, 2019 at 9:27 PM ^
Stupid question. Why doesn't he just walk on and save a scholly. Give his dad a $50k /yr raise (like he needs it) and call it good.
December 17th, 2019 at 9:41 PM ^
From what I understand, walk ons to do not get the same privileges as scholarship players in terms of practice, weight training, and other things. I'm completely fine with Jett getting a scholarship. He's a top 50 player
December 17th, 2019 at 11:05 PM ^
I wouldn't be surprised if there were some kind of NCAA rule about this, because coaches' sons never seem to be walk-ons. I remember reading about how John Beilein had to "recruit" Patrick to WVU.
But even if not . . . you really don't need 14 scholarship guys on the team. If he's good enough to get a free ride, you give it to him.
December 18th, 2019 at 6:52 AM ^
Michigan faculty get discounted tuition for their kids, so the the $ being spent on the scholarship are lower than usual.
December 17th, 2019 at 10:17 PM ^
How is Jett Howard still in high school in Ft. Lauderdale if his mom and dad moved to Ann Arbor?
December 17th, 2019 at 11:03 PM ^
is he a def tackle
December 18th, 2019 at 4:53 PM ^
i was kiddin
December 18th, 2019 at 1:35 AM ^
It's nice to go after the big recruits like this but I'll believe we have a shot with him when he signs...
December 18th, 2019 at 6:13 AM ^
We have in an with this kid. His high school coach is former player Ron Oliver.
December 18th, 2019 at 1:23 PM ^
Is this the recruit that visited for the Bahamas tourney with his brother?
I heard they had a lot of fun in the stands.
