MSU lead for zero seconds in the game. FUCK. 

It was a terrible way to lose the game. Silver lining is UM absolutely outplayed MSU and the refs, so hopefully they'll be able to rebound.

I punched through drywall. My wife is not pleased. I keep telling her that was the best case scenario.

Two things that are helping me to cope right now: 1) in spite of this game I have more confidence in Michigan right now than at any time in the last few years, and 2) my 10-year-old is even more upset than I am so I can try to take the long view and remind him that a big part of being a fan is experiencing both the incredible highs and punishing lows. I also let him know that true fans stick with their team through even through this kind of loss.

Welp.   I was thinking Michigan was going to lose, held that opinion right up until the start of the 4th, and was happy that it looked like we had a win.  And then, well, that happened.

The bright side is that I'm now 99% certain that M will win the next 4, and we'll have a chance at Ohio.

I am done with sports for the next two weeks. Check in with everyone when I've had a chance to mentally recover from this and enjoy sports again, but it's going to be awhile.

Proud of the team, they played damned hard and are almost there. Next year those field goals will be touchdowns. I have great hopes for this year and the future, but I will never trust another punt snap for the rest of the year.

It's absolutely terrible. The offense absolutely sucks with the inability to ever hit the wide open deep passes. The referees absolutely were horrendous and now we have to think to next year. Peppers was the brightest thing I seen.

Beat OSU, and it'll all be forgotten. Mostly. I mean, it would be a big help.

These last 10 years as a sports fan have just been horrendous. Multiple losses in title games/series and only the Red Wings have won a title. I keep trying to tell myself this will bring the team closer together but fuck, I just don't really see how it does.

I'm emotionally devastated.

Oh, and hopefully something even more amazing happens tonight, so we don't have to have this replayed quite as much. Or 10 amazing, once in a lifetime things.

All the guy had to do was fucking catch the goddamned ball and fucking kick it.  What the fuck!?  Then instead of falling on it, he literally knocks it into the worst possible place.  Another year of these insecure fucks talking shit to make up for the miserable existence they have.  Worst ever.

the story of this game was the msu dline. they played a great game. horrible way to lose the game but this team is still way better than anything we've had in a few years.
