Ok soooooo this offense looks as inept as Borges....does this say that hoke vetoes any changes? I mean what in living hell is michigan doing? No slants to the tallest player on field or hell even a jump ball?? It's not like we are playing for a draft pick wtfh?!?!?

I feel bad for the guy updating the @umichfootball account. I think it might be @davebrandonAD because no one could stay positive watching this mess. At least they sold enough Coke this week to fill this stadium.

What happened to UnWavering? Did he flip out and start crying in some thread vowing to never come back? I'd like to so him and Coldwar's take on this beauty of a game.

Everyone involed with the program knows they are coaching and playing for Hoke's job and this is the best they can do. It's sad really. The team looks worse and worse, more uninspired apathetic, with each passing week. I've been a big believer in Hoke until these last few games, when it's become clear that he really is a mediocre MAC head coach. Everything about the team is slow: on defense, slow to the ball and slow to make adjustments; on offense, slow to get calls in, slow to the line. The team has no fire and no heart. Hoke must go.

I wanted Hoke gone 1-2 years ago after PSU because all the same evidence was there. Plus he doesn't fucking wear a headset. In hindsight, that alone signifies he doesn't have what is required upstairs to be a HC. So obvious but all the delusional followers who don't know when they see mediocre kept defending him. Type A people know when someone isn't type A. Look at Harbaugh, Carroll, Saban, Meyer...there is a certain edge and borderline psychosis and obsession with detail that Hoke doesn't have. Those guys don't fuck up clock management and don't have personnel issues because that shit is controllable and basic. Home struggles with just the basics. How the fuck can ever he be elite when the controllable errors happen at an alarming rate. Those things are predictors of overall precision. I can't comprehend how some of you guys got off the wagon so damn late.

3rd and 5 at Minn 6 and we take a timeout to save the time. Or set a defense.

You go with an agressive defense and make them take the timeout.

And we give up a big play out of timeout. How in the heck you do that?

This is Minnesota team is awful. And we let them drive down the field from 1?

Hi, my name is Kevin, and I've been watching bad football for about eight years...I didn't even realize I had a problem until just recently!  I kept thinking things would get better, but...

Okay, somebody else's turn.

My sons baseball coach was talking to his team after a lopsided loss (19-1).

He asked them why they lost.

One particular player said rather bluntly:
"Because we suck".

I'd say that's rather fitting here.
This is a dumpster fire program right now.

Is going to lay a beating on us like we have never seen before. I will not be near the tv or computer or cellphone that entire day. I may find a dark room and sit in the corner until Sunday.

What does a terrible coach like Hoke not do during practice, game planning, etc...that a guy like Saban does? Why are his teams so bad? He seems to work hard, his players love him, and he's hired what are widely believed to be talented coordinators. The team has a ton of talent, at least according to starzzz. WHAT THE HELL IS THE PROBLEM!?!?!?

Are clearly not competent as it is there job to teach technique and develop talent. He won't replace them so that is on Hoke. Also his entire philosophy around offense appears to be ineffective. Also our special teams suck indicating a lack of focus on detail. The lack of enthusiasm and energy from the team also indicates a lack of ability to motivate.

Minnesota is playing sound football, give them credit.  Our lines will nail it one play and then catch a breath the next one and fail their roles.  Cobb is a beast on a mission.  Smith has showed vision followed by apparent blindness.  We can win this one and this will depend on which sort of Michigan team shows up in the second half.

I'm in CA watching in a bar that is playing 90s music over the game. I never could relate to that sappy crap but hearing "even though the moment's passed you by, you still can't turn away" and "now there's nothing to believe" while Minn drives down for the field goal was something.

Well, it's hard to deny that 106 yards of offense on 24 plays looks....well.....piddly, as that is good for all of 4.42 yards per play. Of those yards, 41 were passing yards and Morris went 6-10, so 4.1 yards per attempt and 6.83 yards per completion. If there is a bright spot, we have DeVeon Smith, who has 55 of the 65 rushing yards to his credit and the TD. Sadly, if you more or less double some of these totals, you have Minnesota.
