It's almost that time! Michigan/Indiana kickoff Saturday under the lights in the Big House. What say you regarding the outcome of this game?

Prediction from the Palmetto state: UM - 34 IU 16

Michigan rushes for 250 yards +

McNamara continues to play well as All and Anthony lead with targets/receptions

It would feel great to see a 49-7 thrashing but with the non-maize out night game in the cold and the mobile athlete at QB for the Hoosiers as well as the tendency to keep the car in the garage until Happy Valley I will go 34-20 Michigan.

I agree that they win comfortably. 38-13.

However, I have given up on "being motivated" or "wanting to win" or "wanting to make a statement." as rationales. We've seen 20+ years of disappointing football in situations where our teams should be motivated, want to win, or want to make statements.

Indiana’s rush defense is pretty decent and I think they’ll join everyone else in trying to stop the run with 8 in the box. I think we run for less than 150 but pass for 350+. I think they’ll try tempo but it won’t work as well with a freshman qb that was third string.

Its Indiana. Its going to be stupid. Its going to be #chaos.

Michigan will win, but at least the first quarter or two are going to be close because that's just what Indiana does.

31-23 Michigan

Turnovers, tempo issues, mistakes, etc keep the game closer than it should be. We don't look crisp or angry.

I disagree. This is a much more sound and mentally strong Michigan team. We will execute well, though the play calling may be a bit wonky as we look to Penn State. I do see a conservative gameplan as a possibility, though we *should* be continuing to work on the passing game.

Michigan 30, Indiana 13.

45  - 13

Cade and the offense continue the showcase the revamped and lethal new passing game that showed up last week while the run game also benefits from the Indiana defense having to key in on our WR's and TE's.  The defense bounces back against a struggling offense and the team starts to correct their redzone issues by being more aggressive on 4th downs calling plays with more misdirection, a la the play on 4th and 1 last week where MSU sprung Nailor down to the 1 yard line.

The team overall starts to sharpen their knives as beating Ohio State looks more and more possible (Ohio State only beat Penn State by 9 points in their home stadium at night, despite the Nittany Kitties having slightly broken QB, no run game and missing their best DL player).

Isn’t All banged up? Get him healthy for Penn State.

Anthony continues his emergence as our #1 receiver, but Michigan goes back to the ground game where they’ll be more available against an inferior opponent.

I want to see them work on throwing the ball in the end zone in the red zone, but I’m not actually predicting that to happen.

The DL will have a strong game.
