I think it's a combination of the coaching staff messing him up (do not run Devin you'll only get hurt and then a couple of plays later this OL gets him sacked) and that he is injured (again because no matter what this coaching staff does Devin is going to get injured).
Please get another touchdown. If Tevin Coleman and Shane Wynn can get long touchdowns and big plays against State then they sure has heck can achieve the same if not more against our defense.
That side of the ball has been a disappointment. If they were as good as PSU we may not be struggling to make a bowl game.

I doubt the staff would have told him to literally stand there and take a sack. I'm sure he has the freedom to run if the play breaks down. DG just doesn't have the proverbial QB IQ to put it all together
