McPhee played 11 seasons in the NFL, including seven with the Ravens with new Michigan DC Wink Martindale. Coaches that have been around McPhee view him as someone with the characteristics and makeup to be a fast riser in the coaching world and to eventually become a head coach.

Also a dude who made a cameo in my personal favorite Neck Sharpies where Seth breaks down the Ravens ameoba the year before it was installed by MacDonald.

He's was one of those oversized edge attackers. Would love to pick him up if he's a rising name in coaching, imagine him mentoring Derrick Moore or Enow Etta.

Take it for what’s worth, but the former stalbomb X handle has also mentioned another hire is happening that is from another rival. He did allude to a big time hire in presumably Tony Alford roughly a week ago, but he could have gotten that from a paywalled site. Interesting at the moment.

You know, it looked like it could go poorly early on, but I have to say, Coach Moore really did assemble what looks to be a really good staff.

Let's see if this makes sense.

Over a decade as a player in the NFL.   Familiarity with the Ravens defense.   Young and energetic.  Played for Michigan's DC.

This sounds like a great fit.
