Michigan hated by impressive number of states

Doubt it.
Someone did a survey a few years back and it was like 40% Michigan 33% MSU fans and the rest said both or neither.
Think Auburn fans. In all likelihood it's split 50/50 or 60/40, and there's no other team that compares. So maybe 50% of the state of Alabama hates the Tide (think Auburn fans), whereas only 40% hate Auburn and 10% hate Tennessee (think Tide fans). So the Tide wins, "most hated". Makes perfect sense.
edit: beat me to it. I'm a slow typer.
People in Delaware generally don't seem to care for college sports, but Penn State and WV are definitely the two most represented in the area and both have their own reasons for disliking us
I am guessing (and I could be wrong) that South Dakota hates Iowa because one of the Dakotas has to hate someone, and it might as well be South Dakota, and indeed, why not just hate Iowa for proximity reasons.
Of course, that's just a guess. I note that the state of Nebraska still has the Big 12 history fresh in their minds as well. Indeed, that's a nice little empire of hate that Texas has carved out through the years.
Don't the Dakotas just hate each other? I think they should have a death match for the right to drop the direction and just be "Dakota." Kinda like how West Virginia is just the inbred little brother of Virginia.
Growing up, I always hated Nebraska. I still do, even more so after the past two seasons.
But now that you mention it, North Dakota is totally lame. Periodically, some of them get the idea that if they take the "North" out of their name, the state economy will benefit. You see, the problem is not that it's just freakin' cold up there, the problem is that North Dakota just sounds too cold.
Seriously, though, the NDSU Bison do well in football for a small state team.
Unapproved Michigan logo.
doesn't hate. They congratulate.
North Dakota is for lovers.
after going 7-6 last year and the flare up against penn state. A lot of money was lost that weekend.
I dont' get Maryland though. Potamac, Pikesville, surrounding areas are huge alumni bases. . .
What did the original map look like?
not hated by a number of impressive states. Big difference. Probaby had a lot of votes from Mass wives and who the hell wouldn't be sexually frustrated by a bunch of minute men?
I feel like everyone is annoyed by Notre Dame but they aren't the archnemesis of anyone. All of their rivals have bigger rivalries with other people
