In 2009, JLo put together this Michigan bar map. http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/um-friendly-bar-locations-across-us-and-els… When you find your bar, add it to this.

Just go to a regular sports bar. If no "michigan friendly bar" is listed anywhere it's because there probably isn't one.

Look for this... I'm not too familiar but I think it's a chain.
If you can't find one, use the directory

Man, I've had the same problem! The closest place I've found is a few miles offshore Guam.
The good news: there are thermal vents everywhere that aren't unlike heated seats :)

Head over to Guam and watch it at The Hard Rock Cafe on Tumon Bay. Great view plus you stay dry.

Get a free VPN on your phone/computer (Hola). Pay 14.99 for a one day ESPN game day feed. Run said VPN, hook up to TV, or watch on device. Get beer at a store. Log on to game thread on MGo to simulate friends. Enjoy.

If you make it out of the Middle East, when you get to Lichtenstein, you are golden.
Until then, might I suggest the internet?
You can usually find an unathorized streaming feed which will load all sorts of unwanted things to your computer.
I am sure there are some Michigan grads in town, but they have thought about what satellite feed they are getting far sooner than this.
Wonder what the name of sports bars in Tel Aviv are?
Good luck, and hope you are able to catch the game somehow.

This place has location literally right next to the US Embassy and they show American college football games. Assuming it is open at game time, I'm sure they would turn it on for you. May not be a UM bar, but good enough.

Or head up north a bit and watch it with my brother. I'm sure he'd appreciate the company.

Little bit noisy there...
But man "Bar Mitzvah" is pretty damn funny.

There is a kibbutz at Mishmar HeEmek that should have it.

Also, best falafel I have ever had was at a falafel joint in/near the Tel Aviv street market; you have to get a falafel wrap with chips (French fries), which they put inside the wrap. If you are down for a fancy dinner Manta Ray is awesome. Gold Star is a pretty decent beer.

...a Michigan sports blog - one that almost certainly has readers who have been to Tel Aviv - and ask for help finding a place to watch Michigan football. I mean, what if we don't have space for the "what are you drinking?" thread? What will we do then?!

I'm fine if the OP literally can't find anything internationally as I'm not sure if the MGo bar map has that stuff listed. As it's been stated before, if you can't find anything on Google, Facebook, etc... especially during this season with so much hype, there probably isn't a UM affiliated establishment. Some of the best televised games I've watched have been with complete strangers or even rival fan bases, shooting the shit during the game/commercials.
Whatever happened to just going downtown of whatever city you're in (this is the part with the tall buildings and fast cars), finding a bar with college football and watching the game. If the bartender or host can't put it on, repeat this process at another location. If you really want to be proactive, under MGoBoard , there's a link to "Michigan Bar Locator".
These posts are just coming across as lazier and lazier. Harbaugh would surely disapprove.

Thanks for starting this thread! It has reminded me that I didn't even make plans yet to watch the game!
My wife and I are moving into our new condo on the north shore of the Sea of Tranquility this evening and I won't have time to setup the new satellite dish before the game.
Can anyone recommend a nearby pub/grill that has at least a 43% Wolverine fanbase? I like being part of the plurality/majority, but want a few opponents' fans to heckle too.
It's also important that this location serve both American and Japanese fare. I couldn't find this information on 11W, Wikipedia, or Hotels.com so I thought I'd check here.
Thanks, everyone!
