Mel Tucker Named to Coach of Year Watch List

Didn’t see this posted. Jim Harbaugh is on the Dodd watch list, but I’m afraid he has little chance going up against Mel Tucker.  I’m glad the nation recognizes Mel’s true talent through all the noise about being 5-7, having your players assault other teams, and his starting QB running from a dumpster fire.  I look forward to the exciting battle between these coaches for the next 9 years and $85.5mm.

MSU vigorously fought the records' release

Now it's time to FOIA how much they spent in legal fees simply in effort to keep this information hidden.

I swear the entire MSU athletics institution is made up entirely of message board fanbois. From the fans to the media to the AD. The idea of a booster footing the bill to overpay for a head coach is sports talk radio logic that never happens in real life, and here the MSU AD was trying to pass it off as if it actually happened. Something about that didn't add up from the very beginning.

15 months of billable hours by Miller Canfield Law Firm PLUS they may have had to pay Detroit Free Press’s ace attorney Herschel Fink’s fees after they lost? Could be a couple million bucks.

Cuck bummin'

Their flukish 2021 win over UM leading to a 10 year $100mm contract is so fittingly Sparty.  Glorious to watch their fanbase wiggle around with 7 L Mel apologetics as their culture, recruiting, talent and on field play has become a dumpster fire.

Looking forward to another year of him sweating profusely and becoming unhinged as UM dismantles them in their annual Super Bowl.

I think this is pretty much it. Or really, it's the fact that they were bad last year. Harbaugh is not going to win COY if he wins the Big Ten a third time in a row, but if Tucker improves his 5-7 team, he could. Plus, he's had a good year before, setting him apart from other 5-7 coaches. If he has a year like two years ago, he'd probably win it.
