The box score on this one won't tell the story of the game at all. We had a shot at this before the refs gave OSU 5 and totally shifted the momentum.  And that block on Morris was the same play that he got called a charge for but he didn't flop like bitch Sullinger. I'm going to stop now before this turns in to a novel.

TV crews should not have alumni of a school involved call the game.  The alumnus's homerism always rubs off on the guys next to him.

I definitely agree with the boards sentiment about these refs, but we did our job this tourney by beating Illinois. We're not experienced enough yet to knock off the #1 team in the country in the tournament.

Tough game. Yeah we aren't shooting that great and OSU's plaed better, especially in the second half.

But god I hate Big Ten reffing. I watch a lot of college basketball, especially in the past few weeks and no conference has worse officiating game in, game out then we do. Completely kills the game.

And no, I'm not trying to whine, we have fouled Sullinger a fair bit and got some calls our way in the 1st half. But a good official is like a good offensive lineman. If you never have to talk about them, they did their job. And almost every Big Ten game, the officiating is a discussion topic. Shame really, since the game is played by the players, not the refs.

Give it a rest, there were a few bad calls in a row. It's going to happen in every game. The refs didn't make us stop playing defense on every possession since then. There's a reason OSU is easily the best team in the nation. Don't be whiny bitches.

But it just so happens that these "few bad calls" only happen when Sullinger is involved and they happen in every game that OSU plays in.

I just don't understand how neither the Big 10 or the announcers notice this and everyone lets it happen and praises the shit out of Sullinger.

We were all over Sullinger in the first half, the commentators did point out that they were letting a lot go. The reffing absolutely wasn't perfect, but there's been far worse. If anyone truly thinks the refs are why we lost they need to take off the maize shades.

the bullshit officiating favoring Sullinger has been occuring all game. And let's not forgot the ridiculous free throw disparity in the first two meetings.  Michigan hasn't played that great , but you would have to be blind to not see how that stretch changed the momentum of the game, as well as the preferential treatment for Sullinger has been getting all game.

We're a predominantly 3 point shooting team. They're a team that averages the most free throws in the conference because they play inside then kick out. The style of play is going to affect the amount of free throws taken, and they're always going to shoot more free throws than a team like ours.

2 point game. Should be our ball, but osu gets ball when Sullinger clearly hit it out of bounds. Now it's a 5 point game.  Morris gets raped on offense, turns it over.  Sullinger bulldozes into THjr, blocking foul w/2 free throws.  Now it's a 7 point game.

So instead of having the ball down 2 with a chance to tie or take the lead, we have the ball down 7.  Refs fucking blow

The out of bounds play was a close call, and could have gone either way.  On the Morris TO, he dribbled into the lane, and into a double team, and whether a foul takes place or not that's usually not called.  The blocking foul on THjr was bullshit.  So I count 2 points.  Ultimately, if the refs happen to change the momentum of a game, a team has to change it back with their play.  M proceeded to miss their next 9 shots.  Ballgame.  Frankly,  this board is the equivalent of the dude at the Y that calls foul any time he gets contact, instead of the dude who shakes it off and comes back harder next time.

Let me guess, this is the same kind of response you get when you occasionally run into another human being? You realize nobody here thinks there is any value in anything you say, right?

It's not about disagreeing with you, it's about you being a complete whiny asshole.
