MBB v Illinois Open Thread
Have at it kids. Going for the outright championship tonight versus an improving and defensive minded Illinois squad. Hopefully our traditional -10 to -19 first half deficit issue is abolished.
I don't care that we're up over 20, that is NOT a continuation, fuckers.
How in the hell is that a basket? He got fouled above the free throw line.
How was that a blocking foul? He was planted there for seconds...
Gimme a break. Max was setup when that guy was out behind the 3
Didnt realize Max was loaded lol
Rice is just truck-sticking everyone in his way with the ball tucked, and it's impossible to defend with this officiating.
get back to running the offense
Not really playing good at all in this half. We've been lucky so far Illinois has been awful. They can't keep playing like this game is over, though.
Work on our interior offense guys.
Oh there you go TV Teddy. There you go
do I continually have to listen to announcers that are sad that Michigan is winning....
Mad Max attack!
And Dakich uses that line AT LEAST once a game
Wow. Illinois cannot commit a foul right now. Refs wanting to even it up
LeVert having a rough night. I feel bad for him coming in here and not playing great.
I guess he'll just have to console himself with a road victory and an outright big ten title.
It's good that Illinois hasn't heated up this half because our offense has stalled.
Syracuse is really falling apart down the stretch. I'd be very surprised if they land on the 1 line.
Way to stop the bleeding Caris. Thank you
NIK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stauskas taunting their student section. So amusing for us. So annoying for them
7 x 3
Stauskas is yelling at the crowd after every shot.
I think he enjoyed that USA chant.
I love it when Caris takes that first step of a sprint and ducks his head to do it. I don't know why, but it always cracks me up.
Save some for Indiana.
SPIKE THE HUSTLE MONSTER!
Stauskas is insane tonight. Absolutely insane.
That was a really long stretch without a whistle.
Caris consistently does this thing where I'm thinking "CarisCarisCaris stopdrivingthelanethere'slike5guysthere Carisstopitthatsnotgoingin .....oh it went in. nice"
Why does Illinois hate us?
/S
I like how this team smells blood this year and goes for the jugular/win. They like to compete as much as any UM team I remember watching. I think Beilein has really built that mindset into the UM team and I expect it to continue.
