MBB Purdue Game Open Thread

30-26 purdue at the half. After the start we had you can't ask for more.

it was a bad end to the half after we took the lead-weird foul by Horford before they even got past half court, and then a couple bad offensive possessions sandwiched around the 3 by Purdue.  Even so, we're down 4, gotta take that given how the game started.  

Can't believe we are only down by 4 at the half!  I unfortunately cannot watch the game, but following on gamecast.  I hope we can keep it up!

Hopefully he sets the tone at the start of the 2nd half.  I'm thinking to the tune of a 15-2 Michigan run?

Anyone else think that Purdue is going to bad next year? Who is going to score with Moore and Johnson gone? Although, everyone was probably saying that about us last year when it seemed like Manny and Sims were are only players.

...to start the 2nd half?  I see that Purdue won the opening tip, but don't know if there were any held balls.

Wow.  I wanted to turn the TV off when it was 19-3.  Can't believe how we got back in it.  Hopefully Purdue can go through 8 minute field goal droughts in the second half too. 

If we could just make one offensive rebound, that might make a big difference.

The way Vogrich shoots his J it is like he's 6'9''. Compare Vogrich shot to Smots, who shoots the ball of his forehead.

Vogrich is much more athletic than he gets credit for. He's got a quick first step. I think Vogrich grew over the summer he may be pushing 6'5"

I found it interesting at the end of the half, Belien getting Morris the ball down low on the left side of the basket against the smaller Purdue defender, giving Darius the middle of the court to work with his right hand. Now Morris just needs  to convert those opportunities.

Ugh.  This is just how the first half started.  Purdue draining 3's with ease and we can't get in the same time zone of the basket. 

Purdue is basically + 20 in the first 4 minutes of each half combined today

It happened once.  We just need Purdue to go another 8 minutes without a basket.

We need to cut this lead to about 4 or 5 by the 10 minute mark. That needs to be the goal.
