LSU offers Laquon Treadwell [edit: now going to visit LSU]
All over twitter... from allen treiu:
Laquon Treadwell: "With this LSU offer it might shake up my recuriting just a little bit, who knows?"

Think this drags out his recruitment even longer? He seems really excited about this offer.
Confirmation of visit:
18 year old getting offered by a Michigan Man who was in the national championship game last year. Why wouldn't he consider?
How is that exactly? He played here, went to school here and earned his coaching chops under Bo.
You can only be considered a Michigan man if you formerly coached in Ohio. Also you have to point at things. You have to scowl at the sideline reporters asking those ridiculously stupid halftime questions. You have to wear your shirts with the maximum of 2 buttons undone. You can only tie your shoelaces with one hand, you can only wear a baseball type cap on the field, never outside of that environment.....
Must not eat grass.
Kinda weird that Bo felt so highly of him to let him coach on his staff then, huh? But I guess you know more than Bo...
If I were a receiver I'd take a good hard look at the depth chart at QB there based on what I saw in the LSU games I saw last year.
It's up to Shane now. Hopefully he can use the weekend down in Florida to get in Treadwell's ear a lot more, and get him to commit.
We'll have to give Shane an Athletic Department Blackberry and the keys to the jet, just to shore up recruiting.
Is he traveling back in time on this jet?
Many companies (like mine) still use blackberries, as does my wife's law firm. Not that crazy.
Yeah, all kids want Blackberries now-a-days. They're the coolest. Just ask his company. They know what's cool. They just gave him this sweet laptop to work from home:
Look, I never said they were cool, Captain Snark. But they're not exactly a thing of the past either. And the laptop they gave me is only slightly newer than that one, I think. Not every company is Google, you know.
All joking aside, I write a lot of emails on my blackberry, some of which need to be pretty long, and it's a ton easier to do it on that than an iPhone. I have an iPad and I still type things on the blackberry when it's more than a coupe sentences. In fact, when I'm on the road and I'm making MGoBlog posts, I always do them on my blackberry because it's much quicker than the iPad. And I have to imagine it's easier to type on an iPad than an iPhone.
I had a Blackberry 3 years ago (not poking fun) and it was significantly easier to write an email with than my current iPhone. However, *everything* else is significantly easier on my iPhone than the Blackberry.
If you are forced to often write long emails via your smart phone then I'll give you that one, the Blackberry is easier, but it still doesn't mean it's cool or justified.
That's fair, but I'm not sure how much my company cares about cool, they just want us to be able to do our jobs well. And as cool as an iphone is, I don't think it does any business function easier than a blackberry. At least my business functions, so I'd say it is justified.
You work?
That pretty much sums it up. I went from Blackberry to iPhone one year ago and the only thing that suffered was email...and even that doesn't seem too much worse.
Though I will be looking Android next
A Bluetooth keyboard, either built in or separate. Faster than IPhone, Blackberry, etc.
Try it, you'll like it.
Jelly Bean google search.
The first thing I noticed was the missing q. Then I saw the parrot.

RIMshot!
Yea, but they also offered an eighth grader before him.
This kid is going to mess around and lose his spot. Devon Allen is here this week at the BBQ, let LT keep messing around and watch his spot disappear too.
Yea he is, he'll be in Michigan for the bbq. CAN'T YOU READ?
Touché.
.
The way things are starting to shape up I wonder if we end up taking Treadwell and Allen. It's starting to look possible.
This waiting is making me wonder now
or he maybe just likes the recruiting process and the benefits that come with it? I cant imagine any one of us would turn down an allexpense paid trip to LSU with five star treatment, right?
I have a massive interest in your program, and have been a fan for many years. I would love to take a weeklong visit to check out the program.
Well Allen and Green will be at the BBQ, not saying it will happen, but there is a chance those two take the final spots.
THere are 4 players but only two schollys.
I don't pay any attention to this. He clearly is a kid that likes the attention of the recruiting process. There is nothing wrong with that, but every fanbase involved is going to get jerked around by these will he-won't he updates.
That being said, he has been a U-M lean for a long time. Wake me up when he commits.
I just hope that he doesn't Jordan Diamond us.
was that he was going to take a while to decide and sort through his options. Only because a few Michigan 'insiders' got overly confident and their sentiments were taken too seriously, did Michigan fans get disappointed.
Treadwell, in comparison, has been much more positive about Michigan, but has been clear that he hasn't come to a decision and might not for a while (though there seemed to be several times where he sounded close).
Neither of these kids have done anything wrong.
You must have selective memory because that was towards the end of his recruitment. Do you not remember Diamond naming us as favorites numerous times only to take visits to other schools.
I remember him saying very early in the process that he wanted to take his time. Then he took his time.
You mean that he's going to think through his decision on where to attend college rather than making a knee-jerk decision to appease inpatient fans?
As opposed to the outpatient fans?
